Celebrating

Today my middle child turns 15, although this isn't the card I made for him, it is one I debated about using.  His is baseball themed - all baseball all the time for that boy!

As we get close to starting another Sale-a-bration season with Stampin' Up!, I thought I would use one of my favorites from last year's Sale-a-bration - Epic Celebrations.  The guitar image that is stamped on Wood Textures designer series paper is from that stamp set...

It is paired with Sheet Music (background stamp) and Gallery Grunge and I have added some Tropical escape designer series paper as well.  A stitched shapes framelit in Blackberry Bliss, some candy dots and a retired sentiment finish it off.

Supplies:
Gallery Grunge, Sheet Music, Epic Celebrations
Early Espresso, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Merry Merlot, Granny Apple Green ink
Whisper White, Pacific Point, Blackberry Bliss card stock
Tropical escape dsp
Stitched shapes framelits
Wood textures dsp
candy dots
Everyday label punch

Guitar Birthday

I went back to the Epic Celebrations stamp set from this year's Sale-a-bration for these birthday cards.  The backgrounds and sentiments are a little different on each one but I thought the cards would be good for either males or teenagers.

Each has the Sheet Music background stamp image behind the guitars and some Gallery Grunge images as well.  The guitars were stamped on Wood Textures designer series paper and then cut out with the paper snips.  The card on the left uses some Springtime foils specialty paper in the background and the one of the right uses some Tropical Escapes designer series paper.

Sheet Music, Gallery Grunge, Epic Celebrations
Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Merry Merlot ink

Foil Frenzy and Eclectic Expressions

As we near the end of Sale-a-bration, I will probably be showing you lots and lots of projects using those free items you still have time to earn.  On the card, I have used three of those items - one from each of the three releases.

The sentiment comes from the Eclectic Expressions (SAB 2018) stamp set and I added some background stamps and the guitar image from the Epic Celebrations set (SAB 2018).  The Berry Burst card stock is embossed with the Scattered Sequins dynamic impressions folder (which is also a catalog item you can purchase).  For accents, I decided to stay with the sequins theme and use some Tutti Fruitti adhesive backed sequins because they are so easy to apply with the adhesive already on them!

Supplies:
Eclectic Expressions (SAB 2018), Epic Celebrations (SAB 2018)
Memento Black ink, Bermuda Bay ink
Whisper White, Berry Burst card stock
Scattered Sequins dynamic impressions folder
Tutti Fruitti adhesive backed sequins
Stampin' Blends
Foil Frenzy specialty designer series paper

Merry and Epic

If you tend to put aside the Christmas themed designer series paper after you are done creating projects for the season like I tend to, don't forget to look at the patterns every once in awhile to see if you can use them for different projects.

The pattern on this card is from the Be Merry designer series paper collection and it can be used for just about any occasion.  I paired it with the Stitched Shapes framelits and Epic Celebrations stamp set (SAB 2018).  The headphones are colored in with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends markers and I added a few of the black adhesive rhinestones for accents as well.

Supplies:
Epic Celebration (SAB 2018)
Memento Black ink
Old Olive and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends
Whisper White, Basic Gray card stock
Be Merry designer series paper

Bright and Epic

There may be a little break in the posts after today - we have been on vacation for about a week and also have been replacing a bunch of flooring in our house before and after and have been living in a mess.  I haven't had a lot of time to play around in the stamp room, but hopefully I won't have too long of a break before I am back!

This card uses one of the Tutti Frutti card and envelopes from Sale-a-bration as well as some Bubbles and Fizz designer series paper, Epic Celebration and some Shimmer ribbon.  The colors are pretty bright so I intended the card to maybe be for a teenager...

Supplies:
Epic Celebration
Memento Black, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral ink and markers
Whisper White, Bermuda Bay card stock
Bubbles and Fizz dsp (SAB 2018)
Tutti Frutti cards and envelopes (SAB 2018)

Musical Brusho

Here is another example of my Brusho Crystals experiment...When I played around with it, I did several different pieces using different color combinations.  After the watercolor paper dried thoroughly, I stamped the Sheet Music background stamp over the top of it with Soft Suede ink.

Then, I stamped the guitar from the Epic Celebrations (SAB 2018) set on some Wood Textures designer series paper and cut it out with my paper snips and layered my cards.

Supplies:
Epic Celebration (SAB 2018), Sheet Music
Memento Black ink, Soft Suede, Dapper Denim ink
Brusho Crystals
Old Olive, Dapper Denim card stock

Epic Shoes

This card uses one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets I used on a guitar card last week - this time I chose a different focal image - the tennis shoes.  The shoes are colored in with Pool Party Stampin' Blends and the Lemon Lime Twist marker.

In the background I used some Picture Perfect designer series paper and a piece of the Foil Frenzy specialty paper.  The sentiment is punched out with a new punch - the 1 3/8" scallop circle.

Supplies:
Epic Celebrations (SAB 2018)
Memento Black, Bermuda Bay ink
Lemon Lime Twist Marker
Pool Party Stampin' Blends
Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist card stock

Epic

In the Sale-a-bration catalog, there is a stamp set called Epic Celebrations and it is one that I was drawn to right away because it can be used for teenager cards.  Having a couple of those in the house as well as several nieces and nephews we send cards to, that was a set that I wanted to get right away.

There are images of tennis shoes, a guitar and headphones as well as a couple sayings and a background type stamp.  I stamped the guitar on some Soft Suede card stock and then stamped it again on a scrap, cut it out and popped it up over the first stamped image.  There are also some images stamped into the Crumb Cake card base and a couple pieces of True Gentleman designer series paper on the card.

Supplies:
Epic Celebrations
Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Dapper Denim ink
Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock
1 3/4" circle punch
True Gentleman dsp
