To A Friend

While playing around with the Forever Fern stamp set recently, I added some purple tones to the colors in the coordinating Forever Greenery designer series paper. 

The embossed background is Purple Posy card stock and I used some Highland Heather ink on the sentiment layer which was die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  I cut down part of a retired paper doily to add behind the sentiment along with some designer series paper.

July Stamp Club Projects

This month, we again used a couple different collections of designer series paper for our projects - In Good Taste and Forever Greenery. 

The first card uses some In Good Tastes designer series paper as well as the Tufted embossing folder, the Painted Poppies stamp set and Tasteful Labels dies.

Our second card also uses the In Good Taste designer series paper along with the Jar of Flowers bundle and the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle.  We added some Misty Moonlight ribbon and In Color enamel dots to complete it.

The layout uses the Tasteful Labels dies as well as the Forever Greenery designer series paper.

May Stamp Club Projects

Since we are still unable to meet for stamp club, I put together the projects for my members this month.  

The first card is made with the Beautiful Friendship and the sentiment is from Peaceful Moments .  The card base is Rococo Rose and I used Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron ink.

Our second card uses the same stamp set for the sentiment, Peaceful Moments, and the Capture the Good set for the cameras.  In the background I have added a Stitched Nested Label die cut, a piece embossed with the Tufted folder and punched out with the Label Me Lovely punch and some Holiday Rhinestones.  The sentiment layer is die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Finally, the layout showcases the sneak preview Ornate Garden specialty paper that will be in the upcoming catalog.

January Paper Pumpkin and Alternatives

The January Paper Pumpkin kit has some great little cards and pouches for Valentine's Day treats as you can see in the first picture.  I made a few of those and then started to cut down the pieces for other projects...

I have three cards to share with you using parts of the kit in each and an embossed background added to the card base...

The first background is embossed with the Tufted Folder and the card stock is Purple Posy...

The second background is Petal Pink embossed with the Parisian Flourish folder and the final one is Gorgeous Grape card stock embossed with the Large Polka Dot folder...

Chinchilla Out

Here is another sample using the Witty-Cisms stamp set...this time a retirement card.  My background starts with some Purple Posy card stock embossed with the Tufted dynamic impressions folder.  Then I added a layer of Best Dressed designer series paper and a Stitched label framelit before adding my sentiment layer that was cut out with one of the retired framelit sets from the holiday catalog.

The Happy Retirement is from the On to Adventure stamp set and is punched out with the classic label punch.

Merry Christmas! I hope that you have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends.

I have another card to share with you using some of the same elements I did on one of my stamp club projects this month.  The tufted dynamic impressions folder is used on some Merry Merlot card stock for the background (I used gold foil in the previous card) and I have also added some Wood Textures designer series paper.

The tree this time is stamped with Garden Green ink on Whisper white (I stamped in on Tranquil Tide on the previous card) and I have added some rhinestones and a snowflake embellishment for accents.

December Stamp Club Projects

Time is still flying by and I have another set of stamp club projects to share with you!  

The layout this month uses the Festive Farmhouse designer series paper and sprig punch.  It leaves lots of room to customize for your occasion!

Instead of two cards this time, I opted to make a gift card holder as one of our projects using a little striped treat bag.  It is folded in two places and there is a piece of Whisper White card stock inside to write on as well.  The belly band around it is made with Joyous Noel specialty paper and I used the Snow is Glistening stamp set for the label.

On the last project, I again used the Snow is Glistening stamp set and paired it with the Tufted dynamic impressions folder and Stitched shapes framelits.  I just love the double sided ribbon as well - unfortunately is it no longer available like the Joyous Noel specialty paper...

The gold foil edged cards and envelopes were a perfect match to use with the gold foil embossed background!

September Stamp Club Projects

Well it is happening again just like every other harvest season, I think I make enough projects to share with you during I am too busy to create more and I start to run out.  We are currently in the end stages of potato harvest and will be going straight back to the combines for soybeans when we finish.  There will be a few days without posts coming up, but hopefully not too many!  I will try to at least send you a couple each week.

These are the September stamp club projects, we were able to get together before the potato harvest began fortunately!  

The first card uses two dynamic impressions folders - Tufted and Tin Tile along with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.

The next card showcases the Wishing You Well stamp set and Neutrals designer series paper... 

Finally, the layout uses the Festive Farmhouse designer series paper and a die cut from the Stitched Seasons collection.

August Stamp Club Projects

Now that we are already into September, I guess I should probably share last month's Stamp Club projects with you!  

The layout uses lots and lots of stars that were punched out of Night of Navy, Old Olive, Real Red and Whisper White card stock and the Under the Mistletoe designer series paper.

Our first card uses the Healing Hugs stamp set and the Stitched Seasons framelits.  The background is embossed with the Tufted dynamic impressions folder and I added some Neutrals designer series paper to break up the background.

Our last project was a baby card using the Twinkle Twinkle designer series paper and Little Twinkle stamp set.

I have been looking at this stamp set for awhile for masculine cards and always decided to wait, but last month my husband decided it was time for a motorcycle again along with his brother so I figured now was the time to get the set.
