Fantabulistic

This card combines a stamp set from the annual catalog, a hostess paper pack from the annual catalog and a hostess stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

The two patterns of designer series paper come from the hostess collection called Pattern Party in the annual catalog.  I pulled my ink colors from the colors in his designer series paper - Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and Old Olive.

The flower images come from the In Symmetry stamp set - you can purchase the stamp set alone, in a bundle with a punch or in a suite with the punch, designer series paper and coordinating ribbon.

Finally, the sentiment is from the stamp set called In Your Words which can be earned FREE with a $300 workshop or order during Sale-a-bration (through September 30th)!

Celebrating

The color combination on this card might be a little odd...I think it works out ok though.  For the base I chose Crumb Cake and then layered some Country Lane designer series paper over a piece of Granny Apple Green (that is the odd one in the combination...).  The die cut is Gray Granite and of course the sentiment is Whisper White.

The Stitched Shapes circle is stamped using the hostess set called Very Vintage and the sentiment is from a retired stamp set and stamped with Old Olive ink.

Supplies:
Very Vintage (hostess)
Soft Suede, Old Olive ink

Colored White Velvet

Before I get to the project I am sharing with you today...Don't miss out on the Online Extravaganza sale starting on Friday!  The first two days are dedicated to Paper and Embellishments - the second two are focused on stamps and kits and the final two are all about inks and tools!  Check out my website starting Friday to see all the great deals!

By the time I had been able to sit down and play with the White velvet paper that was a limited time product this month, it had already gone out of stock!

On this card, I swiped my Bermuda Bay ink pad over the top of the velvet paper several times and then stamped some circles with Fresh Fig ink.  (Note of caution - if you have this paper and try stamping on it, it will take awhile to dry...)

I colored in the pitcher and flowers with my Stampin' Blends and then used the paper snips to cut it out before popping it up over a white doily.

Supplies:
Country Home, Swirly Frames
Memento Black, Fresh Fig ink

Celebrating

Today's card is another one of the cards I put together in the hotel a few weeks ago.  It began with a Crumb Cake base that I used the burlap background stamp on.

Then I added a pearlized doily and a matted piece of Petal Promenade designer series paper that had a piece of 5/8" polka dot tulle ribbon wrapped around it.  Finally, I added the sentiment from a retired set called Falling For You.

Well Wishes

I have seen so many fun projects created with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set recently, I had to start playing with it!  I chose to frame the stamped images with a piece from the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty designer series paper package.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is punched out with the everyday label punch.

Supplies:

Strength and Prayers

This is the final hotel assembled card!  I used more the of the Brusho altered glossy card stock and added an image from the retired Strength and Prayers stamp set to it with Memento Black ink.

My sentiments are from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and because I had a little bit of smearing on the card base from the Brusho crystal papers, I added some sponging in Night of Navy and Pear Pizzazz to cover it up.

February Stamp Club Projects

For this month's Stamp Club projects, I focused on Occasions catalog items for the most part.  The Painted with Love specialty paper was the focus of two of them and the Waterfront stamp set was the focus of the third.

The Waterfront card is sentiment free and I used the Stitched Shapes framelits to highlight some of the images.

For the second card, I paired the Hold on to Hope stamp set with the Painted with Love specialty paper...

And finally on the layout, used colors that coordinated with the specialty paper and also added some punched pieces using the 1 1/4" scallop circle, 1 3/8" scallop circle and 1 1/2" circle punch.

As always, if you think these look like fun - contact me for more details to try out or join our monthly stamp club!

Painted With Love Birthday

While I don't make too many Valentine's Day cards other than for my kids, husband and nieces I wanted to try the Painted with Love specialty designer series paper without the matching stamp set.  It can be used for much more than just Valentine's Day and the patterns are really fun and bright!

I picked a couple of the patterns to use together and then used the Special Celebrations stamp set and Everyday label punch for the sentiment.  To finish it off, I added some Shimmer ribbon (SAB 2018).

Supplies:

December Stamp Club Projects

In the spirit of the clearance rack and year end sale - this time around I chose to use some retired items for our stamp club projects.  I used several patterns of retired designer series paper in both the layout and the stockings and also a few retired embellishments on the stockings.

Even though the layout uses some Christmas themed paper, it could be used for lots of different occasions.

I wanted to do something more than just cards this time so I put together a gift tag and a pillow box stocking using the Trim your stockings dies.

The card uses the Seasonal layers thinlits and Colorful Seasons stamp set along with some Wood textures designer series paper and the everyday label punch.

Contact me if you would like more information about my stamp clubs!  We always welcome new members.

Recently I put together a lot of these fun Christmas stocking tags using all different types of Christmas designer series paper and embellishments.  These are a couple samples using the Quilted Christmas paper and some mini ornaments and Stitched felt embellishments.

I just cut a big pile of the pieces and started putting them together in an assembly line...it went faster than you might think!

Cups of Cheer

In playing around with the Spooky Night designer series paper and the Coffee Cups framelits, I came up with these very similar cards one day.  Each uses the same pattern of designer series paper and has a die cut square in the background made with the Stitched shapes framelits.

The sentiments are from the Merry Café stamp set and I added them in a different way on each card.

The card below uses the Everyday label punch for the sentiment although I cut one end straight.

I just love the tiny coffee cup framelit so I die cut that in Basic Black ink and then stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla, cut it out and added it to the cup.

Supplies:
Merry Café
Pumpkin Pie ink

Merry Christmas Box

I had this little black box laying around for future use (it is a box from the Undefined line that Stampin' Up! had awhile back) and decided it was time to decorate it.

I began with some Quilted Christmas designer series paper and Pool Party card stock that I embossed with the Quilt Top Textured folder.  Then, I added some sequin trim from the Be Merry Kit and a punched sentiment from the Labels to Love stamp set.  I actually stamped the sentiment once in Garden Green and once in Real Red and cut out a couple pieces and popped them up to add some color and dimension.

The Everyday Label Punch is used on the Garden Green card stock and I cut out the stamped layer so that the label could be layered.

Supplies:
Labels to Love
Real Red, Garden Green ink
Pool Party, Whisper White, Garden Green card stock

Mr. and Mrs.

I have found the Bundle of Love specialty paper to be useful for many different projects and occasions, today I have used two different patterns from the collection on a wedding card.

I paired it with the Cheers to the Years stamp set and added some punched elements with the 2" punch, Starburst punch and the Everyday label punch.  There is also a heart from the corrugated elements embellishments.
