Strong Brilliant and Beautiful

The Best Chapter stamp set is great to use for cards when you are celebrating a milestone and the sentiment I picked for this card could work for a lot of things, including graduation or encouragement. 

It is difficult to see in the picture, but I used the Flowing Flowers stamp set to randomly add a background on the card base before adding my card stock and designer series paper layers. 

The sentiment layer is die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and there are some Polished Dots added for texture.

Greatest Wish

The black and white patterns in the hostess designer series paper package called Pattern Party work really well with the Little Ladybug bundle and for this card, I used two of the patterns and alternated them on some Basic Black card stock.

The ladybug's wings were punched from a piece of Ombre specialty paper which has a glimmer effect, and I added some Classic Matte dots for the black dots on the wings.

February Stamp Club Projects

I am finally getting around to sharing this month's stamp club projects with you!  Remember if you like what you see, we always welcome new members or guests to our monthly club - contact me if you would like details!

As always, we have lots of different products used on the cards and scrapbook layout this month!

This card has quite a few elements using the Stitched Rectangles dies, Stitched So Sweetly dies, Classic Label punch and Pattern Party designer series paper along with the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Driving By.

These slim line cards are great for when you want to add money to a card - this one uses Abstract Beauty designer series paper, Balmy Blue gimmer paper and the Slim Sayings stamp set.

Peaceful Place designer series paper is the focus of the double scrapbook layout this month adding in card stock in coordinating neutral colors.

Daisy for a Friend

I cut down some of the Gingerbread and Peppermint Memories and More cards that were in the Holiday catalog and used some of the pieces on these friend cards using the Many Happenings and Daisy Garden stamp sets.

The card base is 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", scored at 5 1/2" and then I added the layered panel on the short side.

Signed, Sealed and Delivered

Here is a fun way to use the Best Delivery stamp set by adding lots of layers and stamped images. In the background there is a piece of Balmy Blue card stock that has randomly stamped balloons in the same color. I like the effect of using the same card stock and ink colors together when using images in a background layer.

The truck image is stamped with Memento Black ink and colored in with Stampin' Blends before the matted sentiment layer is added to the top with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I love the possibilities that the Wildflower Path stamp set has to offer giving you the ability to use different flower images with the stems and also the option of two step stamping. On this card, I used that stamp set for the focal image using Old Olive and Highland Heather ink.

Mixed Paper Birthday

This card is an example of how you can use your scraps by mixing different patterns and designer series paper packages. I have used pieces from the Simply Elegant specialty paper, Heart and Home designer series paper and Forever Greenery designer series paper collections, attaching them side by side on a piece of Basic Gray card stock.

The strip of Misty Moonlight behind the sentiment is also from the scrap pile and I added a few Iridescent rhinestone jewels to the side of that layer.  The sentiment comes from the Flowing Flowers stamp set and is stamped on a die cut made with the Stitched rectangles dies.

Plaid Birthday

I decided to use up some of my retired designer series paper and make some cards for kids using the Stellar Birthday stamp set. Stampin' Blends were used to color in the image and I used the Light Combo pack  for the skin color. I love all the shades that were just made available to us for skin tones!

The sentiment layer was die cut with the Tasteful Labels dies and I added some Champagne foil paper along the side as well.

Here for You

I love using the Oceanfront stamps for backgrounds and have done so on this card pairing that stamp set with the Flowering Rain Boots bundle. I used Pool Party and Crumb Cake ink for the Oceanfront images, stamping the image in Pool Party ink several times.

The sentiment layer was die cut using the Ornate Frames dies and the watering can, and flowers were die cut with the Rain Boots dies. I added some Pebbles enamel shapes to add some texture.
