March Stamp Club Projects

There is lots of color and variety in our Stamp Club projects this month. I picked some projects that seemed a little spring like because at the time I designed them we were REALLY anxious for some warmer weather.  Thankfully, we have had some this past week and it has been wonderful!

For the layout I chose the Pattern Party designer series paper, which is a hostess product, because of all the colors and patterns in it. It is paired with the Ladybug Builder punch.

Our first card pairs the Stitched Triangles dies with the Hand Penned Petals stamp set and uses Soft Succulent, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Old Olive inks.

Next is a colorful card using the Abstract Beauty designer series paper and the Rain Boots bundle...

Finally, we used the Stitchery and Daisy Garden stamp sets along with the Biggest Wish set to create this card.

Ladybug Birthday

I tried to pull out the colors in the Pattern Party designer series paper when I did some stamping in the background of this card. This designer series paper collection is a large pack of 12" x 12" patterns, on one side there are colorful designs and on the other the designs are black and white. 

The ladybug was stamped on the Beautiful Shapes die cut and then I stamped it on some scrap paper and cut it out with my paper snips before adding it to the die cut with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The sentiment is stamped on a die cut made with the Stitched Rectangles dies.

Hello Ladybug

There are so many fun and cute possibilities with the Little Ladybug Bundle that is in the mini catalog. I put together a few cards like the one below last week using quite a few of the stamps in the set (but not all). 

 For the leaves, I used Granny Apple Green ink and the flowers are Gorgeous Grape.  The body of the ladybug is punched from Basic Black card stock and the wings were stamped with Real Red and then punched out and popped up. There are also a few Wonderful Gems as accents.

Greatest Wish

The black and white patterns in the hostess designer series paper package called Pattern Party work really well with the Little Ladybug bundle and for this card, I used two of the patterns and alternated them on some Basic Black card stock.

The ladybug's wings were punched from a piece of Ombre specialty paper which has a glimmer effect, and I added some Classic Matte dots for the black dots on the wings.

Cute as a Bug

I was putting together some cards for great nieces and nephews awhile ago and pulled out the retired Little Ladybug stamp set for some of the little girl cards.  The image is stamped on a die cut from the Tasteful Labels dies collection and the sentiments are stamped on a die cut made with the Stitched Rectangles framelits.

I added a couple designs of the Flower and Fields designer series paper (SAB 2021) along with some twine from a Paper Pumpkin kit to complete the card.

Little Ladybug

During Sale-a-bration last year, there was a special stamp set that you could earn as a hostess gift called Little Ladybug.  I actually didn't even open the case until about a month ago when I was putting together a birthday card for a family member.  

I decided to go with a simple flower image in the background and a popped up die cut circle with the ladybug image.  Both are colored in with Stampin' Blends and one is done on Whisper White card stock and the other on Very Vanilla.
