Stepped Up Soft Spring

As promised yesterday, here is a stepped up version of the card we made for Stamp Club this month using the Rectangle stitched framelits.  Instead of just sponging the inside of the rectangle I had die cut, I also sponged the outside edge and border on the card base.  The card is still a one layer card, but has a little more dimension to it.

Deepest Sympathy

I put together a few sympathy cards using the retired Graceful Glass designer vellum recently and paired it with the Painted Glass stamp set and retired Note Tag punch.  

After I colored the Graceful Glass designer vellum with Stampin'' Blends, I mounted it onto some Soft Seafoam card stock before adding it to the Very Vanilla card base.  

The sentiment is stamped with Night of Navy ink and I added an image from the same stamp set that was stamped off on scrap paper to lighten it up a little bit.

Stained Glass Birthday

I had fun playing with a few of the patterns of the Graceful Glass designer vellum collection again, coloring them in with Stampin' Blends.

I chose to use the coordinating stamp set called Painted Glass for the sentiments and a couple backgrounds and also paired the Wood Textures designer series paper with it.

The sentiments are die cut with the Stitched Shapes and Deco Label framelits.

Painted Sympathy

I have been going through a lot of sympathy cards again so I have been trying to make some new ones to have on hand.  This card came together using some strips of retired designer series paper but you could easily substitute any pattern for this one.

 I layered Crumb Cake card stock on the same colored base using Stampin' dimensionals after I stamped an image from Hold on to Hope randomly in the background.  The sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set and I used Early Espresso ink for that.

Painted Birthday

There is a new stamp set called Painted Glass that coordinates with the Stained Glass thinlits and the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum.  I did not use the thinlits or vellum on this card, but you can see the details about each below.

I stamped the butterfly images with Basic Gray ink and colored them in with various markers, the card is another simple one with a couple layers but the colors make it pop.
