November 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative

As promised, here is the 12" x 12" scrapbook layout I made using pieces from the Paper Pumpkin kit - my base is a 12" x 12" piece of Very Vanilla card stock and I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler on the side along with the Garden Green card stock for the photo mats.

I decided to use the plaid layers as photo mats and the tags for journaling or a title.

Before I added the Cherry Cobbler linen trim I pulled it apart a little to change the look.

August Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

The next couple days I will still be showing you August things, I just can't seem to catch up during harvest season!  The first two cards are alternative ideas for last month's Paper Pumpkin kit and the last photo is of the cards the way the kit was intended.

On the first alternative, I added a delicate doily and a punched out piece of Frosted Floral specialty designer series paper.  There wasn't too much done differently to change up either of the alternatives this time but I thought they turned out kind of fun.

The second alternative uses some Black foil that is embossed with the Tin Tile dynamic impressions folder.  The rest of the pieces are again from the kit.

You will no doubt see a lot of the Tin Tile dynamic impressions folder on my projects in the future, it is becoming a favorite quickly!

December Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

These are the last alternative projects for the December Paper Pumpkin kit that I will share with you.  I still actually have a few pieces leftover!

The first two cards use the fronts of the smaller card's card base over the top of one of the die cuts and then an embossed piece of card stock.  The embossing was done with the Scattered Sequins dynamic impressions folder. I also added some Shimmer ribbon (SAB 2018) to each one.

The last two cards are just slight variations of the design for the larger card as I played with how I attached the ribbon and banners.

December Paper Pumpkin and Alternate Card Idea

I finally had time to play with the December Paper Pumpkin kit...It seems like when the kids are home on break, I don't get too much time to create.   The first picture is of the cards as they were intended to be...

The layered die cuts and glimmer paper really add a lot to the cards and after I made the first of each design, I decided to create a bunch of alternative ideas for you.  Below is the first alternative card idea and I will have two more days of other options coming up as well!

Other than the card base a few tutti-fruitti adhesive backed sequins, Shimmer ribbon (SAB 2018 and a piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock, the elements of the card are from the kit.
