Sweet Sixteen

Yesterday my baby turned 16 and this is the card I put together for her using some upcoming products along with a few retired ones.

For the stamp sets, I used the upcoming Sale-a-bration set called Friendly Hello, along with the matching Friendly Hello designer series paper, and the retired Milestone Moments. I cut out the words with a paper snips in order to separate them and popped them up with Stampin' dimensionals. 

There is a strip of 6" x 6" Be Dazzling specialty paper (retired SAB) along the side, a piece of White Frayed ribbon and some Iridescent Rhinestones - both of which will be in the upcoming mini catalog.

This is about the time of year that I start making a few Christmas cards and I recently put together a few of these using the Stitched Triangles dies for the sentiment.  The card is mostly made up of layers and Stampin' Dimensionals...

I popped up Very Vanilla card stock on top of the same color card base and then added some specialty paper from Sale-a-bration and an evergreen stamped from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set.  The sentiment on  the die cut triangle is from the

Contours Birthday

A few weeks ago one of my nieces had a birthday and this is the card I put together for her using the Color and Contour Bundle. I had to add a little sparkle for her so I used a strip of the Be Dazzling 6 x 6 specialty paper from Sale-a-bration and some Fine Art ribbon.

The layers are die cut using the Scalloped contours dies and the designer paper in the background is from the hostess set called Pattern Party.  The speckles in the background and the flower image are stamped with the Color and Contour stamp set and the sentiment is from the Turtle and Friends set.

Fall is coming faster than I am ready for it as is the case in most years. The Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set is what I used for the sentiment on the fall themed card "the changing of leaves reminds us that wonders are just around the corner"...

For the die cuts, I used the Harvest dies along with the Scalloped Contours Dies (for the sentiment layer).  I placed a piece of Be Dazzling 6 x 6 specialty paper (SAB 2021) in the background and added some braided trim and Wonderful Gems to complete the card.

Love and Joy

Sometimes it is fun to work with scraps and strips of previously used papers and patterns and I have done so with this holiday card. There are strips of Whimsey and Wonder designer series paper along with the Sale-a-bration item called Be Dazzling 6 x 6 specialty paper.  

The sentiment is from the stamp set called Christmas to Remember and it is on a die cut made with the Scalloped Contours dies.  I also added some Champagne Rhinestones, a strips of Just Jade and Gold braided trim and a Wonderful Snowflakes embellishment.

August Stamp Club Projects

For our Stamp Club projects this month, we used quite a few items from the mini catalog and Sale-a-bration - lots of designer series paper too.

The first card features the Nature's Cabin stamp set, Be Dazzling 6 x 6 specialty paper (SAB 2021) and Whimsey and Wonder designer series paper.  We also added a little shimmer with the Wink of Stella glitter brush.

Next, we used the Scalloped Contours dies, Nature's Harvest and Watercolor Shapes stamp sets and some Beautifully Penned designer series paper (SAB 2021) for an all occasion card.

And finally a simple layout that can be adjusted for any purpose using the Harvest Meadow designer series paper and coordinating card stock colors.

50th Anniversary

A little over a week ago, my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.  Below is the card I put together for them using some current and some retired products.  The Be Dazzling 6 x 6 specialty paper from the current Sale-a-bration catalog is a prominent part of the card front. This specialty paper is champagne in color, but the color can be altered with reinkers.

The numbers are die cut with the retired Large Numbers dies and the sentiment is from the retired Number of years stamp set.  The designer series paper used is called Hand Penned and I also used some Jade and Gold 3/8" braided trim and a square vellum doily.

The Crumb Cake die cut was made with the Scalloped Contours dies and the sentiment die cut with the Stitched Rectangles dies.  I also added some designer series paper to the inside of the card.
