Burlap Sympathy

In the next few weeks, my posting might be a little sporadic with wheat harvest getting closer and the kids starting school in a few weeks.  Hopefully I can find time to keep up with the fun stuff too!!

For this card, I used the Burlap background stamp with some Sahara Sand ink and then added some images from the Petal Palette stamp set using Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow ink.  The sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and I have lightly stamped some of the leaves on that layer as well.

Part of My Story

There are a lot of different elements that went into the cards I am sharing with you today...two different framelits sets, a punch, designer series paper, a Sale-a-bration stamp set and couple of great embellishment sets.

First, we have the designer series paper from the Needlepoint Nook collection and I have used a different pattern on each card.  Next, in the layers I have used a die from the Rectangle stitched framelits and the word friend is die cut from the Well Written framelits.  The sentiment is stamped and punched using the Everyday label punch and I chose to use a couple of the sequins from the Gingham Gala adhesive backed sequin collection and a flower from the Frosted flower embellishments.

Haunting

I am a little late in sharing this Halloween card I recently used at a Stamp A Stack but thought I would share it anyway.  You could easily switch out the designer series paper and sentiment stamp (and the cobweb) and change the occasions for the card.

The base of Granny Apple Green and I added some Toil and Trouble designer series paper along with a cobweb from the Ghoulish Grunge stamp set.

The sentiment is punched out with the Everyday label punch and is layered on a Starburst punched out of some Gorgeous Grape card stock.  The black bakers twine is from the September paper pumpkin kit.

Supplies:
Labels to Love, Ghoulish Grunge
Basic Black ink
Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White card stock
Toil and Trouble dsp
Everyday label punch
Starburst punch
Baker's twine
