I wanted to play around with a couple different patterns from the Needlepoint Nook designer series paper collection so I picked a couple of them and matted them on Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide card stock.  

I used the Needle and Thread stamp set for my background stamping and sentiment layer and the oval is die cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits.

I was playing around with some Needlepoint Nook designer series paper scraps a while ago and made a couple cards using those and the Life is Grand stamp set that is also in the Occasions catalog.

The background stamping on both the card base and the Whisper White layer has images from the Needles and Thread stamp set.

Life is Grand

Recently I made a few birthday cards with the Life is Grand stamp set using colors that would work for masculine cards.

I started by die cutting two rectangles from the Rectangles Stitched framelits in Whisper White and Balmy Blue.  Then I stamped the two sets of words using Lovely Lipstick and Balmy Blue ink.

I added some Needlepoint Nook designer series paper, 3/16" braided trim and another stamped image on the base to complete the card.

Part of My Story

I have a couple cards to share with you today both with the same layout and using the same stamp set called Part of My Story which is one of the free Sale-a-bration items.  

Each card also uses several patterns of the Needlepoint Nook designer series paper.

In addition, I added a little die cut made with the Doily Builder thinlits - the little border...

The sentiments are stamped on die cuts from the Deco labels collection which is retired, but the sentiment would fit on lots of other shapes as well.

January Stamp Club Projects

Well, since January is almost over already I thought I better share the projects my monthly stamp club put together!  This month I used quite a few items from the Occasions catalog and a few Sale-a-bration exclusive products as well.

The first card showcases the Lasting Lily stamp set from Sale-a-bration which is free with at $100 product order.  It is one of my favorites in the Sale-a-bration brochure!

The second card was made using the Grapefruit Grove/Lovely Lipstick foil sheets (SAB 2019), Lace dynamic impressions folder, Doily Builder thinlits, Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green reversible ribbon and the Forever Lovely stamp set.

Finally, for the layout I chose to showcase the Needlepoint Nook designer series paper collection, the layout is again a pretty simple one that can be customized however the user likes.

Part of My Story

There are a lot of different elements that went into the cards I am sharing with you today...two different framelits sets, a punch, designer series paper, a Sale-a-bration stamp set and couple of great embellishment sets.

First, we have the designer series paper from the Needlepoint Nook collection and I have used a different pattern on each card.  Next, in the layers I have used a die from the Rectangle stitched framelits and the word friend is die cut from the Well Written framelits.  The sentiment is stamped and punched using the Everyday label punch and I chose to use a couple of the sequins from the Gingham Gala adhesive backed sequin collection and a flower from the Frosted flower embellishments.
