Balloons and Polka Dots

This card has quite a few layers and a little bit of texture added with the pompom trim.  I started with a base of Whisper White and added some balloons with the Balloon Celebration stamp set.

For the next layer I used some Party Animal designer series paper layered onto a piece of Crushed Curry card stock.  The final layer is the sentiment from Big on Birthdays layered onto
Crumb Cake card stock.

Supplies:
Balloon Celebrations, Big on Birthdays
Emerald Envy, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Crumb Cake ink
Whisper White, Tip top Taupe, Crushed Curry card stock
Pompom trim

Plum and Slate

I don't know if I have used the colors on this card in combination before, but I really like how they work together.  Smoky Slate and Perfect Plum were the colors I added to the Whisper White card base.

Then I stamped the Happy on another piece of Whisper White and colored in the space around the words with a Smoky Slate marker and popped it up on the card base.

Finally, I added part of a paper doily and some Pompom trim for a little texture.

Supplies:
Happy Celebrations
Smoky Slate, Perfect Plum, Basic Black ink
Whisper White card stock
Pompom trim
lace doilies

CCMC161 and TSSC185

I am doing a little multitasking today with the card I am sharing with you.  I combined Mary Jo's sketch with the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge.

I used the Creative Elements stamp set and on the background I colored the images in with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.

The ribbon is the retired pom pom trim ribbon in Daffodil Delight and I layered it on top of Basic Black and Old Olive card stock that I punched with the eyelet border punch.

The flower I stamped 3 times with Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock and then used a sponge to add color and cut out the layers, adhering them with dimensionals.

Supplies:
Creative elements stamp set
Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Old Olive card stock and inks
Whisper White card stock
pom pom trim ribbon - Daffodil Delight
Vintage wallpaper impressions folder
dimensionals
basic rhinestones
eyelet border punch
