Wishing You...

My middle child was 9 on Tuesday and this is the card I made for him using a leftover number from the Snowflake Season Simply Scrappin' Kit, a tag from the Two Tags die and some dsp from the Festival of Prints pack.

I added a sentiment from the Wacky Wishes stamp set and on my Cherry Cobbler layer under the tag, I used the Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate (Occasions Mini catalog).

I made another version that doesn't have a number on it as well and just added a scallop circle that I embossed with the Honeycomb folder and a Cherry Cobbler button on top of it.

Simply Scrappin' Layout

I just love that Stampin' Up! has given us some kits to play with - this is the Snowflake Season Simply Scrappin' Layout Kit in the Holiday Mini catalog.

I didn't quite use all the pieces in the kit and added just a couple things.

I had some 1" circles punched from scraps of Red Glimmer paper that I added below the buttons.

I tied this bow on to the strip along the bottom with some linen thread.

More Prayer Journals

We have confirmation this morning and church and I made up a few prayer journals using the clear cases yesterday for each of the confirmants.  I used retired Simply Scrappin' kits and they went together quickly!

I added The Open Sea stamp images for the masculine one...

Inside I added Bible verses and prayers that I have found and saved in the past so it was easy to print them and add to the pages.

Masculine Clear Case album

This was a project on UStamp with Dawn and Friends Oh My Word created by Miriam Cassell that I wanted to recreate.  I used about 1/3 of a retired Simply Scrappin' Kit and it was really quick and easy.

On the cover I added a couple stamped images from the Elements of Style stamp set and a neutral designer series brad with some hemp twine.

These would be a great way to use up those scraps we have laying around :)

The clear cases are very inexpensive and these little albums would make a great gift for just about anyone.

A view from the top of the album.
