Healing Hugs

The stamp set used on this cards is one of the retiring items available while supplies last during the Last Chance sale.  It is called Healing Hugs and I added the sentiment to a die cut made with the Stitched Nested Labels.

In the background, I chose two patterns of designer series paper from the Dandy Garden collection and added some Blackberry Bliss card stock for a mat and to break up the patterns.

Needles and Stitches

Recently I taught a class at a retreat and we put together the cards and box in the first picture using some retired items and some current ones.  My theme was needles and thread since the retreat was a combined scrapbooking/card making and quilting retreat.  

We used the Love of Leaves and Needles and Thread stamp sets, Hydrangea Hill designer series paper, Needlepoint elements framelits, Lace 3d folder, Tin Tile folder, and Gingham designer series paper.

The two cards in the other pictures are made using the same concepts, but different sentiments and slightly different layouts.  

I added some Rococo Rose card stock and used the Stitched Rectangle framelits along with the Many Messages stamp set and Messages die for these...

The background on the last card was made using the Rectangle Postage punch on some Hydrangea Hill designer series paper and then adhering it to Highland Heather card stock. Next, I used the Tin Tile embossing folder on the piece to make it look quilted.

Mango Birthday

Mango Medley is probably one of the colors I used the least, but chose to use it as the base of this card tying the color in with the designer series paper - Flower and Field from Sale-a-bration. 

In addition to the designer series paper, I added a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock that was embossed with the Lace 3D folder and a die cut made with the Tasteful Labels dies and Just Jade card stock.  The sentiment is made with the Many Messages bundle and I also added some left over Paper Pumpkin self adhesive sequins to finish the card.

Joyful Day

I am still loving to use the designer series papers from Sale-a-bration, this card uses two of the collections - Oh So Ombre and Paper Blooms.  

The sentiment layer was die cut with the Stitched Rectangles framelits and then popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The two layers beneath it are different patterns from the Paper Blooms designer series paper collection.

Fine Art

While the two cards in the pictures today are not for the same occasion, I made a few different ones with the same layout and designer series paper, Fine Art Floral from the mini catalog. 

The sympathy card uses the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the thank you card uses the Ice Cream Parlor stamp set, both sentiments are punched out with the Timeless Label punch and popped up on Soft Suede card stock.
