Happiest of Birthdays

Well, I hope I am going to be back consistently posting projects, but with so much to catch up on, we will see...the crops are planted finally but there are still lots of things to catch up on - including getting some crafting time in!

The background images on this card are created using a hostess stamp set called Garden Grandeur which uses the two-step stamping technique. I used several colors in this design including Merry Merlot, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Polished Pink, and Petal Pink.

The sentiment comes from the stamp set called Charming Sentiments and it can also coordinate with the dies set called Sentiment Silhouettes which you can see below.

There are also 2021-2023 Opal Rounds added to the centers of the flowers for accents.

The Hey Sports Fan designer series paper came out at the perfect time to use it for lots of graduation decorating, scrapbook pages and graduation cards for my son's baseball teammates.

Best Chapter

Only 7 days until graduation...so I thought I would share some more graduation cards this week. These were put together using the Best Chapter stamp set and Design a Daydream designer series paper (hostess). 

The large sentiment is inked with Blackberry Bliss and mounted on Basic Gray card stock while the little banner is inked with Old Olive and I cut it out using my paper snips.

The Everyday Heroes campaign focuses on the people who make small differences that touch our lives. These are the people who hold open a door, pay it forward in a fast-food line, or simply smile and say hello. We honor and celebrate the everyday heroes who go out of their way to show how much they care about others. This campaign is a way to appreciate the little acts of kindness that make a world of difference. Throughout May and June 2022, we are celebrating the people in our lives who do little things and go out of their way to make a difference – Everyday Heroes. At Stampin’ Up! we love saying thank you with something handmade – like a simple thank you card or tag that could be added to a gift. Card Recipe: 1. Score and fold an 8.5” x 11” piece of cardstock at 4.25” Rotate and cut in half at 5.5” This is the card base. 2. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (12”x12”) in half and half again. Painted Poppies

In the next few weeks, I am going to try to keep up with sharing Stampin' Up! news and promotions along with new projects I put together, but it is likely I will not be able to have posts every day. Due to late spring planting, a senior baseball season and graduation I am falling behind a bit...

I just love the Painted Poppies stamp set and clearly do not use it often enough.  When I put this card together, I made sure to make several of them knowing I will use them for lots of different occasions and planned to add sentiments as needed. One of them ended up as a Mother's Day card recently...

I chose Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobler as my ink colors and the smaller image of poppies is colored in with a Stampin' Write marker. The fun accent behind that layer is some 1 1/2" Metallic Mesh ribbon.
