Splendid Day

There is a suite that will be in the July - December mini catalog called Splendid Day that was the focus of a recent demonstrator online event called Creativity Now. The cards below are based on the ideas we were shown during the event with a little alteration.

In addition to the items in the Suite, which you can purchase tomorrow, I used the All That Dies for the sentiment layers.

Thinking of You

Well, while I was able to keep the posts going last week, I still have not found time to do any creating! With all the new products I will have to play with when I finally have time, I hope I can start playing with them soon!

The designer series paper on this card is retired and called Hand Penned, it is one of my favorites from the 2021-2022 Idea book and catalog. It is paired with the Blessings of Home Bundle - I just love the flower images in that set!  The flowers are colored with Stampin' Blends and in the background, I added a die cut made with the Stitched Rectangles dies along with some Polished Gems.

Horns Up!

When I was getting ready for graduation, I came across this photo and wanted to display it at Wyatt's party. The photo was probably taken about 6 years ago and since they are both wearing NDSU jerseys and displaying the horns up sign I thought it would be fun to have it out because that is where they will both be for college (well Hunter already has been there for two years). I did try to get them to recreate it, but they did not like that idea!

The base is a wooden piece that stands up on a table that I purchased from Michaels a while ago. I added some Textured Chic specialty paper, Basic Black card stock and Open Leaf Trinkets (which will be in the July - December Mini Catalog). It was a very simple decoration to put together.

While I have not had a lot of time to play around with the Wisteria Wishes stamp set, I really love the ideas I have seen others put together and cannot wait to have time to play around some more! 

I paired it with some designer series paper from the Design a Daydream collection (hostess) and used the Stripes and Splatters embossing folder and Stitched So Sweetly dies as well.

Hues of Happiness

I put together several different designer series papers for this card along with the Happiness Abounds stamp set. In the background, I have a piece of Perfectly Penciled designer series paper and over the top of that is a piece of 2022-2024 In Color Ombre Glimmer paper that has a scalloped circle die cut from it using the All That Dies.

The flower layers and leaves are cut out using a paper snips from a piece of Hues of Happiness designer series paper and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. There are a few Brushed Brass Butterflies and  some Daffodil Delight ribbon to complete the card.

Babies are a Blessing
