Beautiful Beginnings

The Timeworn Type embossing folder seemed like a good choice to pair with the Dry Brushed Metallic paper in the background of this card. The embossing is fairly subtle and does not overrun the background.

On top of that, I added a flower stamped with the Cottage Rose stamp set and die cut using the coordinating dies along with a sentiment layer that was die cut using the Beautiful Shapes dies.

The sentiment come from the Something Fancy stamp set, and I also added a few Iridescent Pearls for accents.

Abigail Rose Sympathy

For this card, I did some color on color and coordinating designer series paper for my layers. The card base and embossed layer are both Pool Party and the two layers of designer series paper are from the Abigail Rose collection.

The embossed layer was created using the In the Clouds folder and I used the Something Fancy stamp set for the sentiment.

This is another Bridal Shower card that I put together a while ago using the Abigal Rose designer series paper, Textured Chic specialty paper and Brushed Metallic paper.

The stamp sets I used were Wonderful Moments (retired) and Cottage Rose along with Soft Suede and Petal Pink ink. The circles are die cut using the Layering Circles dies and there are also a few Basic Pearls added for texture.

Blended Abigail Rose

One of the things I love about the Cottage Rose bundle is that it coordinates with the Abigail Rose designer series paper, and you can die cut some of the images in the designer series paper using the dies in the Cottage Flowers dies collection. The large image on this card was created that way...

After I die cut the flowers, I took some Blending Brushes and used Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam and Pale Papaya ink and added some color to the image. 

In the background, I used a piece of Textured Chic specialty paper and a strip of 6" x 6" Glimmer paper. The sentiment layer was die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies.

In My Prayers

There are some beautiful patterns in the Abigail Rose designer series paper collection, several of them are in neutral colors but there is one pattern with some color to it - Petal Pink - and I have used that in the background to add a little design and color. 

The sentiment is stamped with Soft Succulent ink and is on a die cut from the All That Dies collection. I also added some Crumb Cake ribbon to break up the flower pattern just a little bit.
