A little gift

I made this little magnet gift as one of our Stamp Camp door prizes.  The idea comes from Carla Brasher and of course I used my favorite Autumn Spice paper again!

The tag is from a set retired awhile ago.  This is a quick and easy little project, the thing that takes the longest is setting the crystal effects in the little bottle caps!

Prayer Journals

I have been making some Prayer Journals for the young adults that are confirmed in my church for the past couple years.  This year there is only two and I finally decided to make an extra one so I had a sample for myself!
I covered some cardboard that comes with the Specialty papers with the Autumn Spice Specialty paper by wrapping it around the front and then adding another piece to cover the seams on the inside.
Each page has something on it - a prayer, quote, Bible verse, stamped saying or image, but I left a lot of open space for them to add their thoughts, prayers, favorite verses, etc.  The theme this year was inspired by project on Create with Connie and Mary Holiday edition.

In the decorating, I also used the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die.

Quick Get Well gift

My dad is in the hospital this week and I wanted to bring him a little something more than a card when we went to visit.  I had purchased these cute little jars a long time ago and just had them sitting in the future projects pile.

I decorated it with the Autumn Spice specialty paper, waffle paper, Big designer button, hemp twine, 1 1/4 inch Old Olive grosgrain striped ribbon and the Word play stamp set.

Of course I didn't leave it empty, we filled it with fall colored M & M's that we picked up on the way to see him.

Clear Block stamping

I have a Technique challenge up on Soul Scrappers right now and I chose the clear block stamping this time.  To make the blocked image a little bit distressed, I just didn't completely cover the block with ink.

Little Mommy

This is a fall themed page I made for a challenge on Soul Scrappers.  I used the Autumn Spice Specialty paper and the Day of Gratitude stamp set.
To make the ribbon pop up a little, I used dimensionals under both ends.

Siblings

This page was another one for a Soul Scrappers Challenge.  It is difficult to see, but I used some of the Vintage Trinkets on this one - the safety pins and brads and I just love these!  I tore the edges of some of the paper for a little more textured effect and the colors are Old Olive, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and the Autumn Spice Specialty Paper.

Distressed sympathy

This is another card using the Autumn Spice Specialty Paper in the Holiday Mini catalog.  I distresses the edges on all of the papers as well and added my favorite Victoria crochet trim.  The stamp set is Thoughts and Prayers.
