Thankful

The new Expressions Thinlits Dies are great to add to cards, scrapbook pages or other projects (the trick to get them out is wax paper between the card stock and the thinlit).  Since the "thankful" is a little longer, I wanted to make a card that it fit on a little bit better and that meant a bigger card...

But then what do I do for an envelope?  Well, starting September 1st, we have a brand new AWESOME option called the Envelope Punch Board that will take card of any envelope dilemma you might come across :)

It will give you envelope dimensions for tons of different card sizes and then you just score, punch and go!  I wanted to add a liner to this envelope so I made a smaller size one and cut it down to place inside the envelope I made...

Look like fun?  Check back on September 1st and get one of your own!!

Supplies:

Sweater Weather dsp
Night of Navy, Early Espresso ink

Christmas Card Kits still available for August...be on the lookout for September's kit as well!

Prayer Journals

I have been making some Prayer Journals for the young adults that are confirmed in my church for the past couple years.  This year there is only two and I finally decided to make an extra one so I had a sample for myself!
I covered some cardboard that comes with the Specialty papers with the Autumn Spice Specialty paper by wrapping it around the front and then adding another piece to cover the seams on the inside.
Each page has something on it - a prayer, quote, Bible verse, stamped saying or image, but I left a lot of open space for them to add their thoughts, prayers, favorite verses, etc.  The theme this year was inspired by project on Create with Connie and Mary Holiday edition.

In the decorating, I also used the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die.

Little Mommy

This is a fall themed page I made for a challenge on Soul Scrappers.  I used the Autumn Spice Specialty paper and the Day of Gratitude stamp set.
To make the ribbon pop up a little, I used dimensionals under both ends.
