Wrinkle Free

I decided to use some leftover paper that I used the wrinkle free distress technique on for our Late Night Stampers challenge of Masculine cards this week.  I combined the paper with the Dude, you're welcome kit and added some scraps I had in my stash along with some linen thread and Naturals ribbon.

You can find the wrinkle free distress technique here.

The sentiment on each card is cut out with the labels collection framelits and stamped with Early Espresso ink.

I decided to add some Woodgrain folder embossing on a couple as well.

I just love it when I get on a roll with scraps and leftover altered papers, it is amazing how many card can pile up beside you sometimes!

Come on over and play along!  You can find the rest of the design team samples here.

Nothing is Worth More

I am teaching a class next weekend at the PRBC Stamping and Scrapbooking retreat and this is one of the samples I have for them.

For this one, I used the Autumn Accents die and embossed the leaves with the Woodgrain and Perfect Polka Dots folders.  There is a little piece of Naturals Composition specialty paper behind the picture and the sentiment is from Summer Afternoon.

The buttons and ribbon are from the clearance rack and my card stock colors are Island Indigo, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.

On the second one, I chose Comfort Cafe designer series paper and added some Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse, Soft Suede and Summer Starfruit.

The sentiment in each is from Sassy Salutations.

Little Bit of Good

I tried out the Woodgrain folder on Whisper White for this card and I like the way it turned out.  There is a white on white layer for the base and then I added some Polka Dot Parade dsp and Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight.

The Argyle folder was used on on the Rich Razzleberry after I used the Large Scallop edgelit on the card stock.

I used the Fancy Fan folder on the Apothecary accent label in Tempting Turquoise and added some Turquoise glitter brads as well.

Christmas in the Heart

This week at Late Night Stampers, we have a challenge called Too Cool to Use.  I haven't tried out the Festival of Prints designer series paper stack yet so today that is my "tool cool to use" item.

I added a little Victoria crochet trim and an antique brad for an accent.  The card stock colors are Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Lucky Limeade and Cherry Cobbler.
