Stepped up card

This is basically the same card that I shared with you yesterday, but I stepped it up just a little bit adding a few more elements.

There is a Labels collection framelit that has been embossed with the Striped folder on the left side and a strip of More Mustard card stock that I ran through the Big Shot with the adorning accents edgelits on the right.

Finally a brushed bronze button with linen thread through it and a change of base color to make the card just a little bit different.

Textured Tea Cups

Our Late Night Stampers Challenge this week is Texture - and if you have followed my blog at all you will know I LOVE texture from my impressions folders :)  so this won't be difficult at all!

For this card, I used the Vintage Wallpaper impressions folder on both the Baja Breeze strip that I cut with the Adorning accents edgelit and also the 3" circle.

As you will see on the last picture, the circle is cut through all the layers on the front of the card.  I attached them all and then ran it through the Big Shot; embossed the piece I cut out and attached it to the inside.  So the part of the circle you can't see that is attached to the inside of the card actually has 3 layers as well.  Using all the scraps :)

Supplies:
Tea Shoppe
Twitterpatted DSP
Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Baja Breeze and Basic Gray card stock
Riding Hood Red classic ink

3" circle die
Adornding accents edgelit

1 1/4" circle punch
1 3/8" circle punch

You're on my mind

On this card, I tried out the Adorning Accents Edgelit die and made it stick over the edge of the card at little bit.  The designer paper is Nursery Nest and I also used Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Confetti White card stock along with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Old Olive inks and markers.

I used the stamp sets Inspired By Nature and Upsy Daisy and there is a button from last year's Sale-a-bration and a couple brights glimmer brads
to finish off the card.
