Daisy

The layout today is the final scrapbook page in the Artisan award entries and I used a LOT of baker's twine on this one.

It is wrapped around the entire base of the layout and I attached the pieces to the back so they wouldn't move around.

The baker's twine is also wrapped around the letters and I made some little flowers with it too.  I used one of the Two Tags Die pieces for some hidden journaling.

Inspired Birthday

This week's challenge at Late Night Stampers is to use some retiring items and it isn't hard to find some this year with so many wonderful stamp sets and accessories that are going to be gone.

For this card, I chose Inspired by Nature and Happiest Birthday Wishes as my retiring items.

I added a few drops of Crystal Effects to make the flowers look like they have raindrops on them.

Supplies:
Inspired by Nature, Happiest Birthday Wishes
Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso card stock
Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso and Pear Pizzazz classic ink
crystal effects

The Open Sea

I am really pushing the limits of the Planes, Trains and Automobiles theme at Late Night Stampers with this one, but I figured it was transportation at least :)

I used the Stripes impressions folder for the layer on top of the base, both the base and
this layer are Bashful Blue.  The Soft Suede circle (3" die) was also embossed with the Stripes impressions folder.

For the image of the ship, I took Whisper White card stock and stamped the grass image from Inspired By Nature on it; then I brayered Bashful Blue and Marina Mist,  stamped my ship image and
punched it out.

The sentiment from Upsy Daisy is stamped on some leftover Whisper White that was brayered and I added a little Early Espresso satin ribbon.

You're on my mind

On this card, I tried out the Adorning Accents Edgelit die and made it stick over the edge of the card at little bit.  The designer paper is Nursery Nest and I also used Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Confetti White card stock along with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Old Olive inks and markers.

I used the stamp sets Inspired By Nature and Upsy Daisy and there is a button from last year's Sale-a-bration and a couple brights glimmer brads
to finish off the card.

Stamp Club projects

I wanted to make a couple spring cards this time around - wishful thinking!!  The first one has color added with the color spritzer tool and also some Vanilla Shimmer smooch spritz.

The layout this time is very plain and simple using the First Edition and Elegant Soiree papers.

I added a little layered flower (fun flowers die) and neutral button with hemp twine to the second page.
