Auction Crate

Every year I put together a basket of some kind filled with cards for a hospital fundraiser auction. This year the theme centered around Las Vegas, so I decided to decorate the wooden crate I put the cards in with the Game On (retired) stamp set and some other fun products.

There is Metallic Mesh ribbon wrapped around the whole crate and I added some 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer paper and Red Rhinestones for color. The tag is made using the Designer Tags dies.

I happened to have a box of playing cards with the Stampin' Up! logo so I added them to the inside with the cards as well.

Supplies:
Game on
Memento Black ink
Basic White cardstock
Red Rhinestones jewels
Metallic Mesh ribbon
Designer Tags dies

Roll With It

Today I have another card to share with you that uses very few products (and a retired stamp set).  The stamp set is called Game On and I have used two images and a sentiment from the set. This card will be used in an upcoming class I am teaching.

I began by randomly stamping the dice on my card base, making sure to leave room on the bottom for the sentiment. Then, I stamped the chess pieces on Basic White card stock with the same ink color that was used for the card base - Basic Gray.

Supplies:
Game On
Basic Gray ink
Basic Gray, Basic Black, Basic White cardstock

Game On

Don't forget to take advantage of the discount on selected collections of designer series paper this month!

I put together a few cards using the Game On stamp set recently, one of our stamp club projects this month was also created using this set as you can see in yesterday's post.  For these cards, I used a couple different collections of designer series paper - Plaid Tidings and Gilded Autumn.

The card on the right has the playing cards stamped on some retired Classic Garage designer series paper and I just used a paper snips to cut out both the sentiments and the playing cards.

Supplies:
Game on
Gray Granite, Memento Black ink
Seaside Spray, Whisper White, Gray Granite card stock
Plaid Tidings dsp
Gilded Autumn specialty paper
retired embossing folder

October Stamp Club Projects

This month we are focusing on a lot of different designer series paper collections on our projects.  The layout uses the Snowflake Splendor designer series paper and the cards use In Good Taste and Plaid Tidings.

I used several different patterns of the paper for the layout and added some coordinating colors of card stock for the photo mats.

The first card uses the Plaid Tidings designer series paper along with the Game on stamp set and Stitched Shapes framelits.

Finally, the last card uses some different patterns of In Good Taste paper and the Ridiculously Awesome stamp set. The die cuts on this card are from the Tasteful Labels collection.
