Congratulations

I just love the Many Messages Bundle.  It includes a large stamp with lots and lots of sentiments and a large die that will cut them all out for you at one time (see below).  It is nice to have sentiments already stamped and die cut, ready to put on a card so I like to stamp and die cut 4 or 5 of these to have on hand.

For this card, I used a color combination that I would not normally use, pulling in the colors from the Plaid Tidings designer series paper pattern.  Cajun Craze and Rich Razzleberry are the colored card stock pieces and I used the Painted Texture embossing folder on the Cajun Craze piece.

Supplies:
Many Messages
Memento Black ink
Whisper White, Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry card stock

A Day Without

The fun thing about the Nothing's Better Than stamp set is that there are several options to take when you make a card with it. For example, yesterday the card was about coffee, today chocolate, tomorrow's will be cocktails, etc.

The designer series paper that I paired it with today is the Plaid Tidings collection and I used a pattern that has Cinnamon Cider on it and tied that into the card stock and ink colors. The stamp set has a two step stamping option for many of the images so that you can color in the chocolates or whatever image you stamp without using markers.

Supplies:
Nothing's Better Than
Early Espresso, Cinnamon Cider ink
Cinnamon Cider, Whisper White card stock
Plaid Tidings dsp
Classic Label punch
The Nothing's Better Than Bundle includes the Nothing's Better Than Stamp Set and the Love You More Than Dies.

Witty Plaid

The cards I have to share with you today use a retired stamp set called Witty-Cisms that was available last spring.  I used several different sentiments and colored all the images in with Stampin' Blends markers.

The layouts are very simple and I used the Stitched Shapes framelits for the sentiment layers as well as a Stitched Rectangle framelit for the green background on the card on the left.  The designer series paper comes from the Plaid Tidings collection.

Supplies:
Witty-cisms
Memento Black ink
Stampin' Blends
Seaside Spray, Whisper White, Basic Gray, Shaded Spruce, card stock
Plaid Tidings dsp
Stitched Shapes framelits
Stitched Rectangles Framelits
Tin Tile folder

Have you ever seen a more versa-tile embossing folder? The Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder will give your papercraft projects a tac-tile elegance. All puns aside, it creates gorgeous embossed tiles that are especially striking when paired with any color of our Foil Sheets to create lovely metallic finishes.
* 1 folder
* 6" x 6-1/4" (15.2 x 15.9 cm)
* Use with a die-cutting and embossing machine
It’s easy to make a great impression! Just place flat cardstock in this embossing folder, run it through a die-cutting and embossing machine, and out comes cardstock with a bold textured design. 3D embossing folders take embossing to the next level, with deeper, more detailed impressions than standard embossing folders—great for card fronts and accents.

Game On

Don't forget to take advantage of the discount on selected collections of designer series paper this month!

I put together a few cards using the Game On stamp set recently, one of our stamp club projects this month was also created using this set as you can see in yesterday's post.  For these cards, I used a couple different collections of designer series paper - Plaid Tidings and Gilded Autumn.

The card on the right has the playing cards stamped on some retired Classic Garage designer series paper and I just used a paper snips to cut out both the sentiments and the playing cards.

October Stamp Club Projects

This month we are focusing on a lot of different designer series paper collections on our projects.  The layout uses the Snowflake Splendor designer series paper and the cards use In Good Taste and Plaid Tidings.

I used several different patterns of the paper for the layout and added some coordinating colors of card stock for the photo mats.

The first card uses the Plaid Tidings designer series paper along with the Game on stamp set and Stitched Shapes framelits.

Finally, the last card uses some different patterns of In Good Taste paper and the Ridiculously Awesome stamp set. The die cuts on this card are from the Tasteful Labels collection.

For the Win

I recently realized I needed some birthday cards for kids and didn't have many on hand.  So I took out the For the Win stamp set and decided to pair it with the Plaid Tidings designer series paper.

I tore some strips of scrap paper to use as a mask and then sponged Balmy Blue ink on the Whisper White card stock, then keeping the mask on the card stock I stamped the ball images with Soft Suede ink.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and is punched out with the Classic Label punch.

Supplies:
