The Angels Sing

When I put together Christmas cards for my Stamp A Stacks, I do not always use current stamp sets but try to pair the retired ones with current products. Usually, there are Christmas themed stamp sets that I just do not want to part with and the For Unto Us set used on this card is one of them.

The sentiment is stamped with Night of Navy ink and punched out with the Starburst Punch. In the background I have used Festive Foils specialty paper which is in the Holiday catalog and while supplies last is also 60% off! There are also a few Basic Rhinestones added for accents.

I made one last Christmas card to share with you using the For Unto Us and In the Pines stamp sets.

I cut 1" off the front side of the card base and added some Poinsettia Place designer series paper to the inside of the card along with some stamped images.  On the front, I also used the same designer series paper, a die cut from the Tasteful labels dies and some Fine Art 3/8" ribbon.  There are a few champagne rhinestones added to complete the card.

Stampin' Up! On Stage Projects

I was recently able to take part in Stampin' Up!'s On Stage At Home event, normally I am not able to attend the in person events because they happen during a time of the year that could interfere with farming schedules (one just never knows about the weather!).  So this time, COVID 19 helped me to attend...and I am very grateful to have been able to take part in it!

These cards were part of the stamp and share experience (make and take type of portion of the event). While I did not purchase the actual products that were used, we had the dimensions of the materials ahead of time and I chose to use what I had at home.

For the designer series paper, I chose to use the Snowflake Splendor collection and pulled the ink and card stock colors from that with the exception of Mossy Meadow which I just threw in the mix. For the stamp sets, I chose In the Pines, For Unto Us and Tasteful Textures.

Christmas Begins

I have been working on a few Christmas cards lately and just love the For Unto Us stamp set.  For this card, I paired it with a couple patterns from the Poinsettia Place designer series paper collection.

The die cut was made with the Tasteful Label dies and I stamped the image with Mossy Meadow ink.  There are also a few self adhesive rhinestones used as accents.

August Stamp Club Projects

This month's stamp club projects focused on the Holiday catalog.  There are so many fun new and also returning designer series paper packs you will be sure to find something you will love.

The first card uses the For Unto Us stamp set and the Poinsettia Place designer series paper.  The gold foil piece is embossed with the Wrapped in Texture embossing folder (there are actually two different patterns in this set, this is just one of them).  The die cut for the sentiment is made with the Tasteful Labels dies.

Next we made a birthday card using the Itty Bitty Birthdays and Beauty Abounds stamp sets along with the Snowflake Splendor designer series paper.  This collection has patterns you can use for any occasion as well as many different snowflake patterns.
