Black White and Cherry Cobbler

I have another sample for this week's Late Night Stampers challenge of Black, White and one other color, this time using Cherry Cobbler and the Delicate Doilies stamp set

I didn't achieve the effect I started out with in my head, but I still like the card.  The top layer is embossed using irridescent ice and sponged with Basic Black ink.  For the other black layer, I stamped my image with White Craft ink and then carefully sponged Cherry Cobbler on top while it was still wet.

I added a vintage trinket brad, some black satin ribbon, Cherry Cobbler seam  binding, embossed hearts and a little tag with an image stamped from the Tiny Tags set and punched out with the jewelry  tag punch.

CCMC160

Another fun sketch from Create with Connie and Mary this week!

I used the French Foliage and Creative Elements stamp sets (and Tiny Tags for the "friends" tag) on this card.  On the Very Vanilla cardstock, I used the faux mother of pearl technique although the picture doesn't show it well.  I also scored around the edges of the base at 1/4" on each side.

Supplies:
French Foliage, Creative Elements, Tiny Tags stamp sets
Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede card stock
Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler classic ink
Champange Mist shimmer paint
basic pearls
Cherry Cobbler seam binding
jewelry tag punch
hemp twine
Early Espresso 1/4" grosgrain ribbon
dimensionals
scoring tool

Ready for Spring

I hear the snow melting and can't wait for it all to be gone, I am ready for spring.  This project is kind of springy and fun so it fits my mood today I guess :)
I found this little pail for $1 at Target and I knew I could use it for a fun project.  I added some Springtime Vintage fabric around the handle and the pail and added a little seam binding and Victoria crochet trim ribbon as well.
Then I decided to try out my new Fun Flowers die and I alternated layers of fabric and paper and added an antique brad in the middle before I attached it to the pail.  There is a little string of  jewelry tag punches that I stamped with the Tiny Tags set and a Trinket key as well.
The button and the string of tags are tied up with linen thread.
There were some fun things to add to the pail when I picked it up too and I will probably add a pair of garden gloves to it as well.
A close up of the tag string.
