July Paper Pumpkin Ideas

As promised last week I have some ideas from the July Paper Pumpkin kit!  The bottom photo shows the projects the kit is intended for - some cute little diamond shaped boxes.  Above that are some card ideas and tomorrow I will show you a scrapbook layout as well.

I cut between the score lines of a box in the kit and created ice cream cones using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and Tree Builder punch.

The background on top is embossed with the Festive folder and the one below is embossed with the Lovely Lace folder.

I added a few perfect white accents to them both.

Supplies:
July Paper Pumpkin kit
Sprinkles of Life
Soft Suede, So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo, Sahara Sand ink and markers
Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Peekaboo Peach, Delightful Dijon and Crumb Cake card stock
Perfect white accents
Tree builder punch
Lovely Lace folder

Ice Cream Birthday

I have another June 2016 Paper Pumpkin alternative idea for you today!  I know, I know, it is July already but I will have some fun ideas for the July kit for you next week!

I took one of the card bases and cut it down to use as a layer on this card.  Next I used the splatter stamp and added some images all over it before adding a strip of Serene Scenery dsp.

I cut down one of the little cellophane pounces just a little and added lots of sequins, taped it shut and added a scoop of ice cream to the top.

Supplies:
June 2016 Paper Pumpkin
Top Top Taupe ink
Whisper White, Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder card stock
Tree builder punch
Serene Scenery dsp

Cupcakes and Sprinkles

There is some really cute designer series paper in the Occasions catalog called Birthday Bouquet and I thought I would pair one of the patterns with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.

After I stamped my cupcake and frosting with sprinkles, I colored the frosting with the Wink of Stella glitter brush.

Supplies:
Sprinkles of Life
Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Crumb Cake ink
Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron, Early Espresso card stock
Birthday Bouquet dsp
Wink of Stella glitter brush
2 3/8" scallop circle punch

Silver Linings

I decided to try out some Color Me Irresistible specialty designer paper one day and then paired the Sprinkles of Life stamp set with it because of the clouds.

I added some silver metallic thread behind the clouds that were punched out with the tree builder punch and then a sentiment and some little flowers.

If you can't see on the picture, the Color Me Irresistible specialty paper has some embossed raindrops on it and there are other patterns in the pack with embossing as well both in color and on white (so you can color it yourself).

Supplies:
Sprinkles of Life
Lost Lagoon, Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder ink
Whisper White card stock
Color Me Irresistible specialty paper
tree builder punch
banner triple punch
silver metallic thread

Cupcake of Life

I have another card idea for you today using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set (the Ronald McDonald House charities set).  I have used a retired stamp set called Boutique Borders as well on one side of the Basic Gray and the other side of the Lost Lagoon card stock layers.

The ice cream and sprinkles layer was punched out with the Tree builder punch and popped up with Stampin' dimensionals.

Supplies:
Sprinkles of Life, Boutique Borders
Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder, Lost Lagoon ink
Basic Gray, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White card stock
In Color 2015-2017 Blossom Accents
Tree builder punch

Happiness

I love the color combination in the Bohemian Designer Series paper although I am not a fan of all the patterns.  With different patterns on each side it works well though so I can just use the ones I like the best!

I chose to use the same color combination with the inks I used one this card and instead of punching the frosting out with the Tree builder punch (only since I didn't have it yet!), I cut it with the paper snips.

Supplies:
Sprinkles of Life
Bermuda Bay, Delightful Dijon, Blackberry Bliss, Island Indigo ink
Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay card stock
Banner triple punch
designer buttons
Bohemian designer series paper

Make a Difference

Each year Stampin' Up! has a stamp set designated as a Ronald McDonald House Charities set and for every one of these stamp sets that are purchased, they donate $3 to RMHC.  The set this year is called Sprinkles of Life and it is a very versatile one that also coordinates with the Tree Builder Punch.

You will also notice a new embossing folder in the background, that is called Boho Chic and I have used it on some Basic Gray card stock.

Since the sentiment says "Every cloud has a silver lining - you just have to look up to see it." I stamped the clouds with Silver metallic ink...

Supplies:
Sprinkles of Life
Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow, Silver metallic ink
Whisper White, Basic Gray, Soft Suede card stock
White jute ribbon
Boho Chic folder
