May Paper Pumpkin

I am always happy to see baseball themed products from Stampin' Up! since my boys have been playing baseball since they were about four years old.  The May Paper Pumpkin kit was fun to play around with for that reason and I made one of them a birthday card using the kit as well since he has a May birthday. 

The picture above shows the intended designs...

I added some Bumblebee and Real Red card stock to this one and used the happy birthday sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set (this set was used on all of the alternative cards shown)...

This one has some Crumb Cake, Real Red and Bumblebee card stock added...

And finally, one using some Basic White, Real Red and Night of Navy card stock along with some retired Playing with Patterns designer series paper.

I enjoy playing with the Ice Cream Corner Suite of products, the colors of the designer series paper are some of my favorites and the patterns are fun as well.

I chose a couple of the patterns for this card and used the popsicle stamps with Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede ink.

April Stamp Club Projects

Lots and lots of designer series paper went into these projects!  The layout uses the Peony Garden collection and coordinating colors along with some banner punches and the Stitched Nested Labels framelits.

The Peony Garden designer series paper is on sale right now and is also retiring...

The first card also uses a retiring item - Dandelion Wishes - one of my favorite stamp sets!  I paired it with the In Good Taste designer series paper which is coming back in the new catalog...

Finally, we used the Ice Cream Corner designer series paper and Ice Cream Corner stamp set.  The foil in the background is from the Love You Always Foil Sheets package and is embossed with the Tin Tile folder.

Thank Yous

I put together a bunch of thank you cards that my niece can use for graduations thank yous this spring using some colors she intends to use to decorate at her graduation party.  

The background in each card is stamped using the Forever Fern stamp set and a combination of Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam ink.

I used some retired specialty paper from a previous Sale-a-bration for the cards in the top picture since she wanted some Rose Gold in the coloring and some of the current Love You Always specialty paper in the second and third pictures.
