Overwhelm the World

Our Late Night Stampers challenge this week is to use blue as your main color on a project.  For this one, my "blue" is Midnight Muse and I added some Comfort Cafe designer series paper that had the same color for the images.

My little flower is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set and the sentiment came from Pursuit of Happiness.

The ribbon is part of the Artisan Embellishment kit and the little arrow clip is from the Hung Up Cute Clips collection.

Supplies:
Pursuit of Happiness
Everything Eleanor
Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse, Bravo Burgundy, Crumb Cake card stock
Midnight Muse classic ink
Artisan embellishment kit
Hung up cute clips
Labels collection framelits
Comfort Cafe dsp

I hope you find time to join us this week!  The challenge and the rest of the design team samples can be found here.

Smile

I was playing around with my new Epson Artisan 1430 printer and made this hybrid scrapbook page.  The base is Island Indigo with a strip of Sycamore Street dsp and an Apothecary accent embossed with the Chevron folder.  I added a few in color designer brads to that piece as well.

The My Digital Studio elements came from the Chevron Punch Kit and as you can see I just used the template and added a few pieces of the brush set and some brads.
Chevron Punch Kit -- Digital Download
Download includes:
* 16-piece stamp brush set
* 8-piece punch
* 1-page designer template (12" x 12")

I made the page smaller (about 7 1/2" x 8") and matted it with some Pool Party card stock.

Natural Moments

I have seen a lot of great cards using the honeycomb layer and a portion of it cut out for a place to tie ribbon so I thought I would make my version.

I used some Naturals Composition specialty paper as my background and the Honeycomb layer is Wisteria Wonder.  The sentiment is punched out with the ticket builder punch and I added some taffeta ribbon and also some from the Artisan Embellishment kit.

This was a fun and quick card - I will probably make some similar ones in the future!

Embossed Remake

I have another version of my card from Tuesday to share with you today.  This one has the same image and embossing powder (Lacy and Lovey stamp set with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder) but I embossed it with the Honeycomb folder and used a different sentiment from the Vintage Verses stamp set.

I think I like the first one better, but I had fun playing around with them.

Oh, Hello Notes

Today's creation is a folder filled with note cards all of which are very easy to recreate.  The folder is made from Naturals Composition specialty paper cut to 10" x 7 1/2".  I scored it at 5" on the longer side and 1 1/2" on the shorter side, cut the 1 1/2" up to the score line on the 5" score and used sticky strip to make pockets.

One tip if you are stamping on the paper doilies...wait until one ink is dry before you stamp over it.  I didn't quite wait long enough after stamping the sentiment before I stamped the background image.

The folder holds 6 note cards that are 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and have 2 layers - Raspberry Ripple for the base and Whisper White for the top.

The note cards were stamped with the Everything Eleanor and Creative Elements stamp sets using Primrose Petals and Crumb Cake ink.
