Hey There Friend

Isn't it fun that after we use our Paper Pumpkin kits we still have some fun stamps to play with?  I put together some fun cards using both of the stamps that were included in the March kit.

I used Raspberry Ripple and Baja Breeze markers for the sayings and punched them out with the decorative label punch.

On two of the backgrounds, I stamped the splatter image with Raspberry Ripple and on the other two I used the Honeycomb folder.

Each one has a strip of Summer Smooches dsp and some ribbon - some from the Artisan embellishment kit, some scallop dots and some stitched satin.

The dsp on the card above is actually from Patio Party.

What fun have you had with the Paper Pumpkin kits?

Bordering on Romance

Once in awhile I will get out my markers and decide to do a bunch of coloring, but not very often because I don't love to do it.

I stamped a bunch of these flower images from the Bordering on Romance stamp set and colored them in with Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette and So Saffron.

I left the card without a sentiment for now, thinking it could be for a wedding or bridal shower possibly...

Supplies:
Bordering on Romance
Early Espresso, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette and So Saffron ink and markers
Pool Party, Early Espresso, Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla card stock
Lacy Brocade folder
Fan Fair dsp
flower trim
Artisan embellishment kit

Nothing with You

This card uses the Pop 'n Cuts base as a layer on the base of the card.  I just cut off part of the card after I die cut it.

I added some flowers and leaves from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set in Bravo burgundy and Always artichoke, added some Soft Suede and lace from the Artisan embellishments kit and then attached it to my Bravo Burgundy base.

The sentiment comes from the stamp set called From my Heart.

Sharing Some More Love

Well, I didn't get these posted before Valentine's Day but thought I would still share them with you.  A few of them could be used for weddings, etc. as well.

The stamp set I used on these is called You are Loved.

A variety of framelits, embossing folders and embellishments were used as well as the Artisan Embellishment kit.

The saying on the card above is actually printed on the dsp (More Amore).

Hope you enjoy them!

Love always

I was playing with the Affection Collection stamp set again and came up with these two similar cards.

The ribbons are from the Artisan Embellishment kit and I chose Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo, Very Vanilla and Primrose Petals for my colors.

Each ones also has a strip of Very Vanilla that was embossed with the Needlepoint Border folder.

Overwhelm the World

Our Late Night Stampers challenge this week is to use blue as your main color on a project.  For this one, my "blue" is Midnight Muse and I added some Comfort Cafe designer series paper that had the same color for the images.

My little flower is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set and the sentiment came from Pursuit of Happiness.

The ribbon is part of the Artisan Embellishment kit and the little arrow clip is from the Hung Up Cute Clips collection.

Supplies:
Pursuit of Happiness
Everything Eleanor
Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse, Bravo Burgundy, Crumb Cake card stock
Midnight Muse classic ink
Artisan embellishment kit
Hung up cute clips
Labels collection framelits
Comfort Cafe dsp

I hope you find time to join us this week!  The challenge and the rest of the design team samples can be found here.

Natural Moments

I have seen a lot of great cards using the honeycomb layer and a portion of it cut out for a place to tie ribbon so I thought I would make my version.

I used some Naturals Composition specialty paper as my background and the Honeycomb layer is Wisteria Wonder.  The sentiment is punched out with the ticket builder punch and I added some taffeta ribbon and also some from the Artisan Embellishment kit.

This was a fun and quick card - I will probably make some similar ones in the future!

More in my thoughts

As promised, I have a few more variations on yesterday's card.  They all have the same Pool Party background that has been embossed with the Chevron folder and also use the Apothecary accents framelits.

I added some stamping with the Lacy and Lovely stamp set on all of these and used more elements from the Artisan Embellishment Kit.

The last one has some retired pleated ribbon on it as well.

Hope you like the variations!

In my thoughts

I did some playing around with this sentiment from Word Play and the More Amore designer series paper.  Tomorrow I will show you a couple other cards that are similar, but just a little bit different.

I used the Apothecary Accents framelits to make the piece my sentiment is stamped on and then used the Needlepoint Border folder above and below the sentiment.

The flags are from the Hearts a Flutter framelits and I put a little linen thread behind them.  Some Victoria crochet trim and part of the Artisan Embellishments kit top it off.

Supplies:
Word Play
Primrose Petals ink
Pool Party, Very Vanilla card stock
More Amore specialty paper
Apothecary Accents framelits
Chevron Folder
Needlepoint Border Folder
Hearts a Flutter framelits
Artisan Embellishments kit
linen thread
Victoria crochet trim

Color challenge

This week at Late Night Stampers, our challenge is to use Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette and Lucky Limeade on a project.

I created this card using the Everything Eleanor and Vintage Verses (SAB) stamp sets.  My texture comes from the Honeycomb and Fancy Fan Folders and I have used some Artisan Embellishment kits items as well.

My die cut comes from the Apothecary Accents framelits and I have added some basic pearls and a button from the Brights collection designer buttons.

You can see what the rest of the design team has created here.  Hope you join us!

Artisan Embellished

I really like the new Artisan Embellishments kit in the Occasions mini catalog, I just wish there were more pieces!

On this card, I added some of the More Amore Specialty Designer Series paper, linen thread and Pool Party and Very Vanilla card stock that was embossed with the Cloudy Day folder to the kit pieces.  No stamping at all on this card.

And one more...

Another card using the Vintage Verses stamp set...I promise the next one will be done with a different set!

I paired the labels collection framelit with the sentiment this time and added some Print Poetry dsp, lace from the Artisan Embellishment kit and embossing with the honeycomb folder.

The dsp I used one this card is More Amore specialty paper and Naturals composition specialty paper.  For the sentiment, I used the Wacky Wishes set and the little flower and ribbon are from the Artisan Embellishment kit.
