Hey There Friend

Isn't it fun that after we use our Paper Pumpkin kits we still have some fun stamps to play with?  I put together some fun cards using both of the stamps that were included in the March kit.

I used Raspberry Ripple and Baja Breeze markers for the sayings and punched them out with the decorative label punch.

On two of the backgrounds, I stamped the splatter image with Raspberry Ripple and on the other two I used the Honeycomb folder.

Each one has a strip of Summer Smooches dsp and some ribbon - some from the Artisan embellishment kit, some scallop dots and some stitched satin.

The dsp on the card above is actually from Patio Party.

What fun have you had with the Paper Pumpkin kits?

God Bless You

I have a son that will be confirmed this spring so I thought I better get started making some Confirmation cards.  The sentiment on this one was printed using My Digital Studio.

The cross and "God Bless You" come from the Crosses of Hope stamp set and I used early Espresso ink.

Supplies:
Crosses of Hope
Early Espresso ink

Fabric Fancy Flowers Take One

I have shown you a similar card before using the Blossom Punch and Flirtatious Fabric, but on this one I used the Fancy Flower punch and the new Summer Smooches fabric.

There is also a summer smooches fabric brad in the middle and I popped up the Daffodil Delight Layer with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from With all my heart and I added some 1/8" taffeta ribbon behind it as well.

Summer Smooches and Stamp Club projects

This month I am focusing our Stamp Club projects on the Occasions Mini catalog and the Summer Smooches promotion.  I have a quick and easy card with the Designer Cuts set and a fun card with the Sweet Cake stamp set and Sweet Shop specialty paper.

The layout will feature the Summer Smooches designer series paper.

Baby

This is another page I did for my niece's scrapbook using the Serif Essentials Alphabet die and the Nursery Nest designer series paper.

I added a little pleated ribbon and a sneak peak fabric brad from the Summer Smooches collection.

Here is our new baby!  We just picked her out last night and brought her home with us.  She definitely has a good set of lungs :)  The kids were out before it 7 am to play with her this morning and had a difficult time leaving for school.

Sweet Shop

Another project I was working on at my retreat last weekend was some scrapbook pages of my niece, Greta, from about 7 years ago.  The Sweet Shop specialty paper worked great for these pages of her 1st birthday.

I also used the Sweet Cake stamp set along with some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the top page.  On the bottom one, I added some of the fun Summer Smooches fabric brads that you will be able to purchase as a sneak peek next month.  I used them to hold up my bakers twine banner.

Supplies:
Sweet Cake, Bring on the Cake, Pennant Parade stamp sets
Sweet Shop specialty paper
Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White card stock
Island Indigo classic ink
Calypso Coral maker
Cherry Cobbler dazzling details
Island Indigo bakers twine
Summer smooches fabric brads
Petite Pennants builder punch
