Congratulations

 

When my time is so limited in the spring, sometimes quick and simple win out when I am making a card.  This one is definitely that!

 

 

I tore some First Edition specialty paper and stamped my sentiment from Sassy Salutations on that with Early Espresso ink. On my Crumb Cake base, I stamped the swirl image from Everything Eleanor with the same ink and added a dyed piece of flower trim to complete it.

Happy Mother's Day! 

I thought I would share one of the Mother's Day cards I made in honor of mother's today.  This one uses my favorite specialty paper - Naturals Composition specialty paper and I am SO GLAD it is in the new catalog!

 

 

I embossed some Primrose Petals card stock with the Honeycomb folder and used my 2 1/2" circle punch to punch out a partial circle on the right side.  Then I added some Fan Fair designer series paper behind the partial circle and mounted that onto some Certainly Celery card stock along with the Naturals composition paper.

 

The heart is cut using the Hearts collection framelits and I embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

May Stamp Club

 

This month my lovely Stamp Club ladies will get these projects with their orders along with some other goodies because we won't be meeting.  Usually I am busy cutting potato seed this time of year, but we are not quite to that point with the late spring, instead we are busy shipping out potato seed instead.

 

 

I used the Bring on the Cake and Designer Typeset stamp set for the birthday card and added some Patio Party dsp and Summer Starfruit stitched satin ribbon.

 

On this card, I left a sentiment off so that they can use it for whatever they wish.  The shell has the faux mother of pearl technique on it although it is difficult to see on the picture.  I love using the By the Tide stamp set for masculine cards so I would probably use it for a masculine birthday.

 

The layout is a pretty simple one again using the Fan Fair designer series paper, Pink Pirouette, Island Indigo, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso.

Epic Direction

 

Well, here is that same sentiment again - I like it for graduation cards as well as other things.  This time I paired it with the Clockworks stamp set and the Epic Day This and That products.

 

 

I used Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla and Island Indigo (boy am I glad that color is staying around!) and added Pool Party and Crumb Cake to the colors when I did my stamping.

 

A little bit of Epic Day This and That washi tape, a brad and that is it!

I pulled out the Quint-essential stamp for these cards and used a sentiment from Sassy Salutations.  The ribbon is retired but I loved it - quilted satin Cherry Cobbler.

 

 

I stamped the flower image on Chocolate Chip and Cherry Cobbler card stock using Chocolate chip ink and then cut it up and attached it to some Crumb Cake on the first card.

 

On this one, I just added the panels to the card base of Very Vanilla.

 

I like the panel idea and will probably try it out with some different colors in the future.

Just for You

 

This is a really simple card that uses a lot of embossing to give it more of a wow factor.  The bottom layer of Whisper White is embossed with the Framed Tulips folder and the top layer with the Flower Garden folder.

 

 

I sponged a little bit of Wild Wasabi on the flower embossing, but it doesn't show too well in the photo.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I made the modern label punch smaller by only punching one side, moving it over and punching the other one.

 

The base and ribbon color is Pretty in Pink.

Bombs Away!

 Today's card is another one using the Photopolymer stamps, this time the set is called Bombs away birthday.

 

 

It has some fun sayings that may not be for everyone, but I know I can think of a few people who would love each one.

 

I paired it with some Twitterpatted and Patio Party designer papers and some Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals card stock.

 

I used the 1 3/4" scallop punch behind the Happy Birthday bomb.
