To the Moon

I had to capture this moment since it happens quite a bit, I think that is Maddie's favorite spot for napping!  I used the Playground Project Life card collection and accessory pack to put it all together and added a couple stamped images from Draw the Line as well.

I stamped on the Wooden Essentials element with Calypso Coral ink and used the Project Life Day to Day stamp set for the month and year stamp.

I love those little stars that come in the accessories kit!

Supplies:
Draw the Line, Day to Day stamp sets
Project Life Playground card collection and accessories
Whisper White, Garden Green card stock
Island Indigo, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry ink

Your Awesomeness!

I have to say I REALLY like the stamp sets with the big sentiments in the new catalog!  The set I used on this card is called Big News and there are several other ones that are similar in size.

This card ties in with our Late Night Stampers challenge of butterflies that is going on right now.  I chose to use some washi tape on Whisper White card stock and then punched out the bitty butterfly and layered it onto an elegant butterfly.

The designer paper is from the Gold Soiree collection - one of the new specialty paper collections.  Another new item is the embossing folder, called Large Polka Dot (another new favorite!!).

Supplies:
Big News
Gold Metallic ink
Garden Green, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White card stock
Gold Soiree specialty paper
Watercolor wonder washi tape
Bitty butterfly punch
Elegant butterfly punch
Corner punch
linen thread
Large Polka Dot folder

Hope you play along with us - you can see the other design team samples or play along right here

I know you have seen some samples created with this stamp set, called Bravo.  Another great set with large sentiments that I will really enjoy using a lot!  I paired it with the designer series paper called Flashback and some itty bitty accents stars.

This is a pretty quick and easy card to put together with very few elements and only one stamped image.

Supplies:

Very Vanilla, Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Real Red card stock
Flashback dsp
Real Red ink
basic pearls
itty bitty accents punches

Confirmation Pages

I realized that I had not done pages for my oldest son's Confirmation and First Holy Communion so I decided to do a couple hybrid pages using the Easter Blessings digital download in My Digital Studio.  These are the pages before they were printed...

And after I added the photos and some embellishments...

I layered some flowers in the digital process and then added a basic pearl when I was embellishing.

Some Victoria crochet trim and a Scalloped tag topper journaling tag, my photos and that is it!

Supplies:
Pistachio Pudding, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede card stock
Victoria crochet trim
scalloped tag topper punch
basic pearls

Endless Birthday Wishes

One of the new photopolymer stamp sets that is available is called Endless Birthday Wishes and I really love the font used for the words in the set.

On this card, I put a bunch of words on a block and just stamped them all over the card.  I used a few of the blendabilities markers to color in the cake although I didn't blend anything together.

Supplies:
Endless Birthday Wishes
Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White card stock
Memento Black ink
Blendabilities markers
2 3/8" scallop circle punch
1 3/4" circle punch

Metro Type

The new alphabet stamp sets in the catalog are photopolymer and there is a nice advantage to using this type of stamp set for letters.  As you can see on the block beside the cards below, you can line them all up on your block at one time and know they will be straight.

Of course, if you need a letter more than once, you would have to stamp a couple times, but lining the letters up is still not too difficult.

I added some images from Work of Art behind the photopolymer stamped image and used Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay for those.

Supplies:
Work of Art, Metro Type Alphabet
Stazon Black, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay ink
Coastal Cabana, Whisper White and Bermuda Bay card stock
