Painted Sympathy

It seems like I can never had enough sympathy cards on hand so here is another one for the week, this time using the Painted Harvest and Touched My Heart stamp sets.

In the background, I have used two different patterns from the In Good Taste designer series paper package and stamped on the top one with Seaside Foam, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake inks. The twine behind the sentiment is from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon combo collection.

Cute as a Bug

I was putting together some cards for great nieces and nephews awhile ago and pulled out the retired Little Ladybug stamp set for some of the little girl cards.  The image is stamped on a die cut from the Tasteful Labels dies collection and the sentiments are stamped on a die cut made with the Stitched Rectangles framelits.

I added a couple designs of the Flower and Fields designer series paper (SAB 2021) along with some twine from a Paper Pumpkin kit to complete the card.

Strength and Peace

I just love the colors and patterns in the Hydrangea Hill designer series paper.  For this card, I paired it with some Oh So Ombre designer series paper from Sale-a-bration, die cutting the sentiment layers from that collection.

The sentiments are from the Path of Petals stamp set and are stamped with Highland Heather ink.

Since most of the products used on these cards are not available, it might seem like I am teasing you with them, but that was not my intent!  You could recreate the cards using whatever products you have on hand...

I used the Punch Party hostess stamp set from this year's Sale-a-bration along with some retired vellum and the Butterfly Bijou designer series paper.  For the accents, I used some leftover Paper Pumpkin embellishments and some retired Enamel dots.

Path of Butterflies

I just love the Butterfly Brilliance bundle and the Butterfly Bijou designer series paper.  For this card, I paired those products with the Path of Petals and Inspiring Iris stamp sets for a sympathy card.

I stamped the Butterfly Brilliance stamp in the background with Smoky Slate ink and the sentiment layer is die cut with the Nested Labels dies.  I used two different sentiments on the same label.

Senior Years

I put together a few retirement cards using the Senior Years stamp set recently and used my Stampin' Blends to color in the images.

Each one has some die cuts made with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and I also used some In Color designer series paper 2020 - 2022 and some Paper Blooms designer series paper (AB 2021) in the backgrounds.

Punch Party Birthday

This card is mostly made using items from the past Sale-a-bration including the Flower and Field designer series paper and Punch Party hostess stamp set.

The stamped image behind the sentiment layers is punched out with the Rectangle Postage Punch and the top two layers are die cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits.

I had some fun playing around with the Baby Pull Toys stamp set recently using some of the Flower and Field designer series paper from Sale-a-bration.  

The pull toys were stamped with Memento Black ink on a die cut from the Stitched Shapes framelits collection and then I colored them in with Stampin' Blends.

Simple Things

I am still working on using some retired vellum that I believe was once a Sale-a-bration item and have used some in the background of the card below.

In the background, I stamped the same image as I did on the sentiment layer using Basic Gray ink and some accents are stamped with Soft Sea Foam.  The sentiment layer is a piece of Oh So Ombre designer series paper.

Seaside View

These retirement cards were fun to put together using the Seaside View stamp set and some Stampin' Blends.  I chose to use a pattern from the Fine Art Floral designer series paper for the background of my beach chair image and then used Stampin' Blends to color in the image.

The Absolutely Argyle folder was used on some Mint Macaron card stock for a background piece and I used the Floral Gallery dies to die cut the sentiment.
