Paper Pumpkin Alternative

As I was trying to come up with some alternative ideas for the August Paper Pumpkin kit, my eyes came across the envelopes that are included in the kit and I thought, why don't I use one of those on my card...

I stamped some images onto it, added it to the side of the card and then made a piece of card stock to go inside that will be attached to a gift card or money.  I added another piece of the kit to make it easy to pull out.

There are lots of layers, but it will easily fit inside the A2 size envelope :)

May Stamp Club part 2

 

On to the cards I used for my stamp club group...

 

The first one uses the Summer Silhouettes and Butterfly Basics stamp sets and I cut out a little flower using the Rose Garden thinlits.

 

The second is one I know we all need this time of year - a graduation card.  There is a little strip of Schoolhouse designer series paper on the side and I used the BYOP and I Think You're Great stamp sets.

Lotus Blossom Birthday

 Lotus Blossom is one of the Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp sets that you can get FREE with a $50 purchase.  It is a set that you layer stamped images to get a detailed effect.  For the flower, I used Blush Blossom, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Calypso Coral to stamp the blossom and Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi for the stem.

 

 

The piece of designer series paper is also a Sale-a-bration Free item called Best Year Ever and the sentiment is from BYOP.

Gift Card Birthday

 

Here are a couple more cards made with the BYOP stamp set that I used on yesterday's card.  I added a Gift card envelope die cut to the front of both of them to go with the theme.

 

The designer series paper is called Birthday Bash and has some fun colors and patterns to it.  I added the Arrows folder for texture on the background piece of Crushed Curry card stock.

 

Each card layout is similar, but just the sentiment is changed.  You could easily put the gift card envelope on the inside as well.
