Our Late Night Stampers Challenge this week is to make a card, scrapbook page or 3d project with a Patriotic theme to remember those who lost their lives 10 years ago this week. 

My first sample to share is a Clean and Simple card using Poppy Parade, Night of Navy and Whisper White along with the Perfect Words hostess set.

I added basic rhinestones to each of the stars and popped them up on the cirles for a little dimension.

Love and care card

I used up some retired DSP for this card along with the now retired hostess set Love and Care and the current hostess set Faith in Nature. 

It is a super quick and easy card to make and you can see a little tearing along the edge of the Peach Parfait layer under the sentiment.

Since leaving the design team at Soul Scrappers, I haven't had a chance to take part in many of the challenges, but this week I found some time to get two of them in and I will share one with you today.  I made a card for the Stampin' Up! color challenge which included Pool Party,

Another card using the Creative Elements stamp set...funny how you first look at a set and think - no, not one I want at all - and then you see samples and totally change your mind.  This is one of those for me...

A fun color challenge this week from Create with Connie and Mary - Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Lucky Limeaide!!

I took out the Grunge Rock stamp set for this one and added a sentiment from Perfect Words.

I just LOVE the ruffled ribbon we have in the In Colors, it is so easy to work with.

I missed Mary Jo's sketch challenge last week so I made sure to get to it early this week! 

I used the Cheerful Treat Designer Series paper (hostess paper) for this card along with the Delicate Doilies and Perfect Words stamp sets.

I outlined both layers that had DSP using a Concord Crush marker and added

a bunch of basic rhinestones.

Greta

This is the second of three projects I made for my nieces for part of their birthday gifts.  Greta will receive an 8 x 10 framed piece - I took the photos with the glass removed, but it will be put back when she receives it.

I added a couple little sentiments to the bottom along with some vintage trinkets and Victoria crochet trim ribbon.  The Beau Chateau paper is torn and sponged with Marina Mist classic ink and I stamped the Marina Mist background with a stamp from Simpy Soft.

 I added a little bit of fun to the side of the frame with some ribbon and a vintage label.
