Mosaic Life

This card was really fun to put together using the printed window sheet found in the Quatrefancy specialty paper package.

I added a strip of the same specialty paper on the inside so that it shows through the window when the card is closed.

My Stamp a ma jig really helped to line up the images on this one!

I chose Whisper White, Island Indigo and Pool Party as my coordinating colors for card stock and inks.

The printed window sheet was added to the card base with sticky strip.

Simply Sketched

Although I don't like to color in images I stamp, I might make some exceptions for this stamp set.  Simply Sketched is a new hostess set and is on page 205 of the new Idea Book and Catalog.

I also used the new Modern Mosaic folder on some Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and added it to a Coastal Cabana layer behind the images.

The stamped images are matted on Pistachio Pudding card stock, one image is stamped on Soft Suede and the other on Very Vanilla.

My ink colors were Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush and Wild Wasabi and I used a blender pen to color in the images.

One Last Nature Walk

I had intended to share these cards before Nature Walk retired, but my crazy schedule this spring didn't allow that to happen!  So... here are my last two Nature Walk shares.

I used Very Vanilla card stock for the birdcage image and applied the Crumb Cake ink pad directly to the paper before I stamped the image in Early Espresso.

Supplies:
Nature Walk
Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla card stock
Crumb Cake, Early Espresso ink
Silver button
Linen thread
Scallop edge punch
Print Poetry dsp

The stamp set used on this card is retired, but I keep going back to the sentiments.  It is called God's Blessings and I paired it with some Print Poetry dsp and the Lacy Brocade folder.

I cut a piece of floral trim and added it as an accent as well.

Happy Father's Day!

The Late Night Stampers challenge for the next two weeks is Father's Day projects and I am going to share a card with you in that theme.

The Harvest Blessings stamp set is appropriate for both my dad and husband on Father's day since they are farmers and I just love the set anyway :)

I paired it with some Naturals composition specialty paper that has a wood grain look and some Parker's Patterns dsp (retired).

A few brads and a decorative label and that is it!

Supplies:
Harvest Blessings
Naturals composition specialty paper
Parker's Patterns dsp
Midnight Muse, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock
Midnight Muse and Soft Suede classic ink
brads
Decorative label punch
dimensionals

Hope you come and check out the rest of the samples and play along with us!

Canvas Sympathy

I haven't played around too much with the Canvas Creations (129375) product a whole lot, but I did use some on this card and really liked working with it.

My Crumb Cake ink pad was applied directly to the Canvas and I swiped it across until I had the coverage I wanted.  To speed up the drying time, I used my Heat Tool (129053) and then stamped my Everything Eleanor (124164) image and Loving Thoughts (125845) sentiment with Always Artichoke.

Supplies:
Everything Eleanor, Loving Thoughts
Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke classic ink
More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler card stock
Cherry Cobbler seam binding
Linen thread
Antique Brads
