More Retro Fresh designer series paper to share today!  I was using up some scrap pieces (the sentiment layers and the small piece of dsp) when I put this card together.

Now that I have opened the Kaleidoscope designer series paper package, I just want to keep using it!  It is the base of my background on this super simple and quick card.

 

For the sentiment, I added an image from Happy Watercolor and then the sentiment from Yippee Skippee.

Back to my favorite flower image in the Best of Flowers stamp set!  For this card, I used Wild Wasabi and Strawberry Slush markers to color in their images on my stamp.

 

You are going to love the Decorative Dots folder that is in our upcoming Sale-a-bration flyer!  I have used it on my Daffodil Delight background here an added a Paper Tea Lace Doily to the top of it.

As the date on this picture shows, I am a little late in getting it in a scrapbook, but I love that it has all the title and journaling I need for the whole page!

 



 

I just added some Epic Day this and That designer series paper to a piece of 12 x 12 Crumb Cake and added a few hexagons that were sponged with Soft Suede ink.

 

The mat for the picture is Daffodil Delight and there goes a quick and easy page ready to be placed in Hunter's scrapbook!

Another Great Year Box

I have a simple little box to share with you today using the Another Great Year stamp set from the Occasions catalog. 

 

The box base is Bermuda Bay and Very Vanilla and is decorated with Retro Fresh designer series paper and Soft Suede card stock. 

 

The bottom of the box slides out and since this was a gift I put together fairly quickly I don't have the measurements for you, but will probably make another one and can post them then.  It contained some goodies that I had created in this project so there was also an insert to hold them in place. 

 

One thing I love about the stamp set I used for this project is the size of the image.  It doesn't need anything else with it, but you could also add to it if you wanted with markers or embellishments. 

Happy You & Me

Maddie had a few fun play dates this summer that I have just not gotten around to scrapbooking yet.  The other day I put together this layout for one of the fun days using the Kaleidoscope designer series paper and Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

 

I added some Bermuda Bay and Basic Black buttons randomly around the page to add a little texture as well.

Something New

Out Late Night Stampers challenge for the next two weeks is - Something New -- It's a new year so let's make a card, L/O, or 3D project to celebrate something new (wedding, baby, home,etc.). 

 

I decided on baby for my card and used the Baby Prints and Cuddles and Kisses stamp sets.

 

I just love the two new angled topper punches in the Occasions catalog - they are SO easy to use to make quick tags!  The one on this card is the scalloped tag topper punch and I added some Coastal Cabana ruffle stretch trim to it.
