Junior Year

We are down to one at home these days as the boys headed to college last week. Maddie started her junior year on Wednesday and as usual I had a sign for her first day picture...

I covered a wooden arrow with some Perfectly Penciled designer series paper and colored in the white flowers with various Stampin' Blends markers. Then, I added some die cut flowers made with the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer paper and the Hippo dies.

The final touches were some Basic Rhinestones and letters made with the retired Large Alphabet dies on Basic White card stock.

August Stamp Club Projects

Since August is almost over already, I thought I better share the stamp club projects from this month!  

The layout uses several patterns from the hostess designer series paper collection titled Celebrate Everything. There are also die cuts made using the Stylish Shapes dies and this paper collection. The card stock colors tie in with the patterns - Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce

I decided to include a Christmas card this month since we have some many new options in the Holiday Mini catalog. This one uses 

the Hope and Peace stamp set along with the Boughs of Holly designer series paper. I also used the Stylish Shapes dies for the sentiment layer.

Lastly, we made a card with the Soft Seedlings stamp set and Hive 3D folder. This stamp set created beautifully detailed images no matter what color you choose to ink it up with.

Much Love

I have two cards to share with you today using the same stamp set, ink and card stock colors and designer series paper collection. We have used a few wedding cards this summer so when I was putting them together, weddings cards were on my mind.

I used the Splendid Thoughts stamp set for the images and sentiments and the Textured Chic specialty designer series paper in the background of each card as well. There are some 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds and Open Leaf Trinkets on the card on the right for accents.

The images in the stamp set called Wonderful World (this stamp set is bundled with the Wonderful World designer series paper, and you can earn it free with a $100 purchase until the end of the month!) really show details and dimension when you stamp with them. 

I chose to use Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow ink and colored the stamp in with my Stampin' Write markers to obtain this image. In the background is a piece of the coordinating designer series paper mounted on Evening Evergreen card stock and there is some Daffodil Delight ribbon used as an accent.

I was experimenting with the Lovely and Lasting stamp set one day and put a few cards together with the same basic layout using a couple different products.
