Patterns and Balloons

When I was playing around with the new Geometric Patterns embossing folders, I decided to put together a card pairing the embossing with the Beautiful Balloons bundle.

I chose a couple of the patterns from the Bright and Beautiful designer series paper for the background, sentiment layer and one of the balloons, then used the embossed Crumb Cake piece in the middle and added some white thread to my balloons. The embellishments on the Lemon Lolly balloon are 2022-2024 In Color Pearls.

Let's Go Fishing

This Father's Day card was my first attempt at using the Gone Fishing Bundle and I know I will be playing around with it a lot more in the future. 

I die cut the tackle box portion from Wild Wheat card stock and added some Azure Afternoon card stock behind it. I also die cut the tackle box piece in Crumb Cake and used one of the negative pieces for the sentiment.

Next, I die cut some hooks and lures from the Dry Brushed Metallic specialty paper as well as stamping and die cutting more lures and a couple bobbers. **Hint** Use the adhesive sheets when you die cut the hooks...

On the inside, I added some fish that I cut out from the designer series paper and another sentiment.

More June Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

As promised yesterday, I have four more alternative card ideas for you using the June Paper Pumpkin kit and a few other products. On the first two cards, I used the Countryside Corners dies to cut out a piece off the card base and then added one of the designs from the Countryside Inn designer series paper collection to the inside of the base so it would show through on the front. I also cut down one of the pieces from the kit using the same dies, then layered it on top of the designer series paper on the card on the right.

I used a couple die cuts of leaves I had sitting on my table along with a few flowers made with the stamp set in the kit and the add on dies.

In the above picture, the card on the right has the piece that I die cut out of one of the card bases used as a background piece. For the background in the card on the right, I cut down one of the Night of Navy card bases and embossed it with the Countryside Blossoms folder. 

The last picture again shows the cards as they were designed a couple variations.

June Paper Pumpkin with Alternatives

Sometimes I enjoy sitting down to put together my Paper Pumpkin kit as the designers intended and other times, I like to create some alternative projects. This month, I put together two of each of the cards as intended (with slight variations) which you can see in the first picture below. Then, I made six more cards some of the remaining pieces of the kit along with a few other products.

I will share two of the alternative cards with you today and the other four tomorrow...

On the cards in the picture below, I used the optional add on dies called the Welcome in Dies along with the Countryside Corners dies, Countryside Blossoms Embossing folder, Sentimental Park stamp set, Twisted Rope 3D embossing folder, 1/8" ribbon combo pack, Tinsel Gems three pack and Delightfully Eclectic designer series paper.

All the Happiness

This card uses a sneak peek product, the stamp set called Translucent Florals and this set will also have a matching die set.

I love the images in this stamp set and I can't wait for you to be able to try it as well. I used Old Olive ink for the leaves in the background and Highland Heather ink for the flowers on the sentiment layer that was punched out with the 2 3/8" circle punch. I added a small piece of Crumb Cake card stock to break things up a little behind the circle.

I started playing around with die cuts and designer series paper from the Fresh as a Daisy Suite and came up with this card that could be used for a wedding, graduation, retirement, etc. 

The Moody Mauve card stock die cut behind the sentiment was created with the Countryside Corners dies, but the rest of the die cuts were made with the Cheerful Daisies dies. 

The sentiment is from the retired Celebrating You stamp set and I added lots of Champagne Rhinestones for accents.

Happy Birthday Wishes

There are some fun designs in the Let's Go Fishing designer series paper (still on sale until the end of the month!). For this card, I used one in the background that looks like a net and a small piece of another with fishing poles on it.

The sentiment is made with the Seasonal Branches stamp set and I punched it out with the Essential Tag punch. The thread tied at the top is from the Wreath of Blooms kit.

June Stamp Club Projects

For our June Stamp Club projects, I chose three different collections of designer series paper - all of which are on sale this month! Earthen Elegance, Bright and Beautiful and Inked Botanicals and you can find the sale items here...

The scrapbook layout uses the Earthen Elegance designer series paper along with coordinating card stock colors - Copper Clay, Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie, Misty Moonlight and Pretty Peacock. The punch used is the retired Starlit punch.

The first card showcases the Inked Botanicals designer series paper and the Inked and Tiled stamp set. I chose three patterns of the paper and added them to the background before attaching the top layer. There are Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems and Lost Lagoon ribbon added for accents.

Lastly, we used a few patterns from the Bright and Beautiful designer series paper collection and paired that with the Beautiful Balloon bundle. There are some Adhesive Backed Solids Gems added as well.

May Stamp Club Projects

I am so far behind that it is already the middle of June and I have not shared the May Stamp Club Projects! Well, here they are, finally...

The layout uses the Countryside Inn designer series paper, coordinating Countryside Corners dies and Countryside Blossoms embossing folder.

Next, we used the Cheerful Daisies stamp set along with the Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper. The daisy image is stamped with Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve ink with a Lemon Lolly center.

The last card has a vellum front, and I used a retired Vellum Layering Designs pattern, this product was in the 2022-2023 Idea Book and Catalog...The designer series paper is called Bright and Beautiful, and the stamp set I used for the sentiment is Lasting Joy.

You Make Me Smile

I am working my way back to consistently crafting which is still difficult as we try to catch up on all the things we set aside during shipping and planting this spring. In doing so, I am trying to put together a new set of Stamp a Stack cards and this is one that I came up with last weekend.
