For Maddie

My daughter, Maddie, is just about done with kindergarten and I thought I would make her a fun card since she loves to make them too.  I used the Brights collection designer series paper stack so this card falls into our Late Night Stampers challenge this week too for using designer paper.

I used the Simple Alphabet Numbers and Letters dies and the Perfect Polka Dots impressions folder in the Big Shot.

The stamp set I used is retired and is called Recess, the brads are from the brights collection and I used Whisper White, Pacific Point, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and Tangerine Tango as my colors for the card.

Hope she likes it!

More Quick Pages

Here are a couple more quick layouts that I did with older pictures.  The designer series papers are retired 6 x 6 paper packs and I put them on without cutting them at all.

The titles are done with the simple alphabet and simple letters dies to finish these fast pages.

Funny Face

I have finally been working on some scrapbook layouts and this is one using a picture from a couple of years ago.  I used the Paisley Petals designer series paper and the simple alphabet dies for the Big Shot for my letters.

There are 1 3/4" scallops along the edge of the picture and I used my white gel pen to do some faux stitching along the outside and down the scallops.

Nora

This is my final "niece" project share (well for now anyway, LOL!).  For this one, I used a clip board and reitired Love Letter DSP.

The ribbon is also retired and I added a quote from the Daring Adventure stamp set which seemed kind of fitting for her :)

Her name is made with the Simple Alphabet die and I made a little rolled flower embellishment with the ribbon as well.

The music is from the retired Newsprint DSP and I have some fun buttons and part of a lace ribbon border punch piece thrown in there too.

Claire

My niece, Claire, has been asking me to make a project for her like this one that I created for UStamp with Dawn and Friends Classes, Clubs and Camps.  I decided to do something different, but still just for her and give it to her as part of her birthday gift this fall.  Hopefully she doesn't look at my blog since her birthday isn't for another couple weeks :) but at almost 9 years old, I should be fairly safe!  I will share the projects I made for her sisters in the next couple weeks too.

The base of the project is another 12" x 12" x 1" board and I covered it with the Flirtatious fabric and frayed the edges a bit (I used the mutipurpose adhesive sheets to attach it).

I just love these flowers made with the scallop circles dies, they are so easy to put together!

It hangs on another piece of this pretty fabric tied around some eyelet hooks.

So, more of my favorite things for Late Night Stampers this week - fabric, lace ribbon border punch, basic rhinestones and buttons!

Clear Case notepad holder

I finally made it to a office supply store to get some note pads and have them cut down so I could make one of these :)  I used the Ice Cream Parlor sets from Sale-a-bration and the Simple Alphabet letters dies.
on the inside I added a top note and a scalloped envelope with a bookmark from the two tags die to decorate a little.

These are so quick and fun to make, I am sure it won't be the last one.
