Spooky Screamy Halloween

 

 

We are trying something new at our Late Night Stampers Challenge Blog, the challenges will now run for a whole month instead of two weeks, giving you more time to participate with us!  This month's theme is Halloween/Fall projects (cards, scrapbook pages, goodie bags, wreaths, anything you choose to create with a Halloween/Fall theme and Stampin' Up! products).

 

 

I chose to make a little goodie bag with a couple pieces of the Simply Created Banner kit.  To make the pouch, I punched holes in the two banner pieces with my crop-o-dile and added White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone trim to hold it together. 

 

There are some Gorgeous Grunge images on the front banner piece that were stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink.

 

I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White card stock with Memento Black ink and then used my Blendabilities (Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie) to color over it.  The little bats are from the October Paper Pumpkin kit.

All but 2 pieces of this card were in my precut/leftover stash so it actually went together faster than you might think!

October Stamp Club projects

 

Today is World Card Making Day - what are your fun plans for the day?  Mine?  Well, unless it has rained or is raining, I will be in my combine harvesting soybeans, but if I am unable to do that I most definitely will make a few cards, it has been a long time since I had the chance!

 

This month's projects showcase the Flowerpot designer series paper, Flower Patch photopolymer stamp set and the Letterpress Winter stamp set (also photopolymer).

 

The layout as always is made to be very versatile and the cards are just a mix of what I thought would be fun and also get us thinking about Christmas cards.

September Paper Pumpkin kit

 

I actually had a few minutes to put together a few things in the September Paper Pumpkin kit in the last couple days, it really felt good to play...it has been almost a month since I had any time to myself to make anything!  (Well, wheat and potato harvest are finally over with just cleanup and soybean harvest left...soon I will have more time - yeah!!)...

 

I just love these little burlap bags and they will make fun packaging for some Halloween treats.

 

The stamped images you see are the stamps that came in the kit which also includes the precut tags, clothespins, sequin trim, black bakers twine, ink, dimensionals...am I forgetting anything?  Instructions, etc...

Birthday Kindness

 

This card is made with a hodge podge of things - scraps, different stamp sets and designer papers.  The background is Under the Tree specialty paper which you can see doesn't have to be used for Holiday things all the time.  

 

The stamp sets are Label Love and Gifts of Kindness, both stamped with Memento Black ink.

Color Me Happy

 

Ok, you may be wondering why my title for this post is Color Me Happy when it is a thank you card!  Well, I have some Color Me Autumn designer series paper on the card and a Happiness Is project life card as well...
