O Holy Night

 

I have worked with a couple of church youth groups making cards for shut ins, etc. in the last couple weeks and I have used this stamp set each time (although neither group made this one).  It is from last year, but I really like the image and wanted to incorporate it this year again.

 

The designer series papers I chose to pair are All is Calm and Flowerpot...using Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizzazz card stock and inks along with them.

Middle School

 

Well, I am back and hopefully almost over this icky cough!  While at a retreat a few weeks ago I made a pretty big dent in my scrapbooking "to do" picture pile.  What helped with that a lot was some premade pages that I had ready to add pictures to (extras from my stamp clubs).  This one uses the Point and Click Project Life stamp set along with the Cards and Labels framelits and Happiness Is collection.

 

I love how the stickers make for quick and easy titles!

Banner Blessings

I just love the new photopolymer stamp set called Banner Blessings!  The card I am sharing today uses it and I had to take a picture with my phone because I gave it away shortly after I made it...sorry for the poorer quality of the picture!

 



 

I chose to add a circle of the image from Pleasant Poppies behind the saying and used the Coastal Cabana blendabilities markers to make the saying pop.

One of my son's friends had a birthday recently and this is the card I made for him.  I made the card base 5 1/2" x 1 1/4" and added the Pear Pizzazz to it (8" x 5", scored at 4").  

 

I cut down one of the die cuts from the gift card envelope and trims thinlit to make the small arrow and added a couple of candy dots to it. 

 

On the inside, I used the gift card envelope die to make a pocket that would fit either a gift card or $$ and attached the flap to the base.
