Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Ideas

 The first photo shows the fun cards that could be made from this month's Paper Pumpkin kit along with the cute little pouch to store them in.  There were enough pieces for 16 cards and leftovers too...

The next three photos are alternative ideas I created by cutting up the envelopes and small card fronts.  

Each of the alternatives are 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" when folded and I used Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Old Olive for my extra card stock colors and for some of the stamping as well.

Pocket Graduation Card

We had quite a few graduations to get to this year since the kids are getting older and have friends graduating.  I put together a few of these pocket cards using the Pocket framelits and Pocket Full of Sunshine stamp set.

The background is embossed with the Dot to Dot impressions folder and my sentiment is from the Well Said and Wild About flowers stamp sets.

Birthday Ovals

The designer series paper on this card is no longer available since it was in the Occasions catalog, but I wanted to share it anyway and you could certainly use another collection instead of this one...

I used two layers of different patterns and matted the smaller one on Soft Seafoam card stock.  The sentiment layers were die cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits.

Healing Threads

Woven Threads will officially be the first designer series paper pack that I need to reorder.  I love all the patterns and the color combinations! This is a current Stamp A Stack card which pairs the designer series paper with the Healing Hugs stamp set.

I chose to use a card base of Rococo Rose as well as using the same color for the ink.  The 2" circle and starburst punches accent the sentiment layer which is popped up with Stampin' dimensionals.

Verdant Garden

Another stamp set in the new catalog I really like is the Verdant Garden set.  These stamps are photopolymer and if you want to layer some patterns it makes it so easy to do!  

On this card, I didn't layer the stamps but I used two of the different background stamps behind my sentiment in Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel ink, the same colors I used for the sentiment.  The die cuts were made with the Stitched Nested label set and I added a Flower Faceted Gem as an accent.

Gummy Bear Wishes

Today I have some fun birthday cards to share with you that are made with Sale-a-bration and Occasions catalog items.  Unfortunately they aren't available to purchase anymore but I made them when they were current and just didn't have time to share them with you before now!  

I thought they would be good cards for any age...The stamp set is called Hello Cupcake and I paired it with the How Sweet It Is designer series paper.  The colors are Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight.

I chose to use some Garden Lane designer series paper as an accent and the new In Color called Seaside Spray for my ink color.
