Turquoise and Sequins

While I was figuring out fun projects for my nieces to create for 4H, I decided to make another mason jar project.  This one is painted with some Turquoise acrylic paint and I added some fun decorations...

A metallic foil doily lies underneath some 1" dotted lace trim and over the top of that is a flower made with the glassine sheets and the scallop circle punch.

I added some neutrals sequins, metallic gold thread and a neutrals designer series button to complete it.

These jars are just to much fun to create!

Supplies:
Metallic foil doilies
Neutrals designer buttons
Neutrals sequins
Glassine sheets
2 3/8" scallop circle punch
Metallic gold thread
1" dotted lace trim

Celebrate!

Back to that Brick Wall folder again!  I think it is my favorite new embossing folder in the catalog.  This time I punched out a 2 3/8" scallop circle from the corner of the embossed card stock and added an image behind it from Butterfly Basics.

To add a little extra, I chose to add an Expressions natural element to the top of the card and a designer button to the bottom.

Supplies:
Butterfly Basics
Memento Black ink
Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo markers
Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White card stock
2 3/8" scallop circle punch
Banner triple punch
designer buttons
Expressions natural elements

From My Heart

Yesterday I shared a project using a color I haven't used in a long time, today it is a stamp set that has been collecting dust!  The From my Heart set is full of great sentiments but for some reason it has been on the shelf feeling lonely for awhile.

These two cards are pretty different, but they started out with the same sentiment stamped and cut out with a scissors.

I chose to use an On Film framelit on the first card along with a paper lace tea doily and 1 3/4" scallop circle.  Coastal Cabana, Marina Mist and Baked Brown Sugar are the basic colors on this one.

Next, I went with Cherry Cobbler and Pistachio Pudding, mixing those with the Baked Brown Sugar ink.  I added some 5/8" Naturals Chevron ribbon, Watercolor wonder washi tape and an antique brad.
