The Pretty Petites stamp set from Sale-a-bration is one that I have not really use a whole lot, I guess it doesn't inspire me like the other ones do.

This card is actually quick and easy using scraps, buttons and the little sentiment from that stamp set.

Supplies:
Pretty Petites, Distressed Dots
Whisper white, Pumpkin pie, Real red card stock
Tempting Turquoise ink
Polka Dot Parade dsp
Brights designer buttons
Petite curly label punch

Chevron Hello

Primrose Petals is back on this card (my favorite color, I think!) and paired with Baja Breeze and Basic Gray.

I added a strip of Primrose Petals to the Baja Breeze base before I ran it through the Big Shot with the Chevron folder.  The Apothecary accent behind the oval is embossed with the Honeycomb folder.

I used Baja Breeze and Primrose Petals inks along with the Oh, Hello stamp set and added a Neutrals designer button with linen thread tied in it to finish the card.

Other Plans

When I made this card, I started not really knowing what direction I was headed.  I think it turned out ok in the end though.

I used Naturals Composition specialty paper both to mat my sentiment and also as a layer behind it.

The design behind the sentiment is from Creative Elements and it is stamped in Crumb Cake ink.

Supplies:
Full of Life, Creative Elements
Midnight Muse and Crumb Cake ink
Midnight Muse, Crumb Cake card stock and Naturals Composition specialty paper
Raspberry Ripple stitched satin ribbon
in color dahlias
Chevron folder

Wrinkle Free

I decided to use some leftover paper that I used the wrinkle free distress technique on for our Late Night Stampers challenge of Masculine cards this week.  I combined the paper with the Dude, you're welcome kit and added some scraps I had in my stash along with some linen thread and Naturals ribbon.

You can find the wrinkle free distress technique here.

The sentiment on each card is cut out with the labels collection framelits and stamped with Early Espresso ink.

I decided to add some Woodgrain folder embossing on a couple as well.

I just love it when I get on a roll with scraps and leftover altered papers, it is amazing how many card can pile up beside you sometimes!

Come on over and play along!  You can find the rest of the design team samples here.

Scribbled Thanks

I have seen a few cards with a marker background lately and thought I would give it a try.  This one uses Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight Markers behind the Vintage Verses sentiment.

I added a torn and distressed piece of Primrose Petals behind the sentiment layer and a designer builder brad with some Sunshine and Sprinkles dsp in it on under the sentiment.  The Daffodil Delight background is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

Nothing with You

This card uses the Pop 'n Cuts base as a layer on the base of the card.  I just cut off part of the card after I die cut it.

I added some flowers and leaves from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set in Bravo burgundy and Always artichoke, added some Soft Suede and lace from the Artisan embellishments kit and then attached it to my Bravo Burgundy base.

The sentiment comes from the stamp set called From my Heart.

Hunter's Creation

My son, Hunter has a birthday party to go to and wanted to make a card with some of my scraps for his friend.  This is what he came up with and I wanted to share it with you.

The letters are cut using the Big Shot and Typeset Alphabet dies.
