Simple Masculine Birthday

For this simple one layer card, I used the grass stamp from the March Paper Pumpkin kit along with the Clubhouse stamp set.  The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and I colored in the ball and tell with markers.

April Paper Pumpkin Project

I put together one final project with the April Paper Pumpkin kit using the sentiment about family as the main focus.  Behind the layered sentiment, I have used the flap from one of the envelopes and also added a few of the other elements from the kit.

In addition, I added a matted photo of my soon to be graduate...This was a project that came together very quickly using the kit pieces.  I chose to use tear and tape adhesive, glue dots and Stampin' dimensionals for adhesives to they would adhere well to the wood background.

April Paper Pumpkin Layout Idea

This is the 12" x 12" scrapbook layout I came up with using this month's Paper Pumpkin kit supplies.  The base is a piece of Terracotta Tile card stock and the piece of specialty paper on the side is from the sneak preview Ornate Garden specialty paper collection that will be in the upcoming Idea Book and Catalog.  The rest of the items are part of the kit itself.

The photo mats are card bases that I cut down and the saying is a piece that goes on the front of one of the cards.

April Paper Pumpkin and Alternative Cards

My Paper Pumpkin kit came earlier this month that it ever has so that was a nice surprise in my mailbox! Well, it always has a great surprise inside...

Button Birthday

This card has a lot of different layers using Big Shot products - the background has been embossed with the Button Button folder and the Crumb Cake layer was die cut with the Stitched Nested Labels.  

Next are two layers die cut using my all time favorite Stitched Shapes framelits.

My sentiment is stamped with the retired Better Together stamp set using Terracotta Tile ink.  This is admittedly a color I rarely use but I like the was it looks with these combinations.

I had been playing around with some different graduation card designs awhile back and this one uses some retired Brightly Gleaming specialty paper in the background along with some retired Merry Merlot ribbon.

The sentiment is from the I Say Hello stamp set as is the graduation cap and it is punched out using the Everyday Label punch.

3rd Grade

One of the projects I have focused on quite a lot this year has been getting ready for my oldest son's graduation.  I went through his scrapbooks and pulled out all the sports pages and all the school pictures and put them in separate albums to display at his party.  In doing so, I found a few that were missing and a few pictures that hadn't made it to the scrapbook yet.  

This layout for his 3rd grade class picture uses two different designer series paper collections - Pressed Petals and Magnolia Lane.  There are also a few leaves trinkets accents along the right side.  

Truthfully, I will probably replace the title if I get a chance because I don't feel like it fits well with the rest of the page!

Thanks for the Laughs

I love the Thanks for the Laughs stamp set that is in the mini catalog (look to the bottom of the post to see the sayings that are included ).  Here are a few cards using one of the sentiments from that set...

I paired it with the Tasteful Textures stamp set and a few die cuts from the Stitched Shapes and Stitched Nested labels collections.

The background on this one is embossed with the Button Button folder and I added a piece of Sale-a-bration designer series paper as well.

Each one has a few self adhesive sequins from a past Paper Pumpkin kit for accents.

Beautiful Poppies

My stamping time is still pretty limited these days but I had a chance to put together a few cards using the Beautiful Friendship stamp set one day. 

I chose Rococo Rose for the ink color for the flowers and made a few different variations of the same card.

The designer series paper in the background is from the Peaceful Poppies collection and the baker's twine used on the one on the left is from the March Paper pumpkin kit.
