Jar of Sunshine

I always like to have fun little 3d items on hand for door prizes or gifts and have quite a stash of little bottles and other items to alter when the mood sets in!  I added some taffy to this jar and then used the Sunshine Sayings stamp set to decorate!

First, I wrapped some Fruit Stand designer series paper around the jar and then I added my layers.  On the top, I stamped the flower image again with White Craft ink.

The decorating on the jar was pretty easy to do but it just makes a cute little gift for any reason.

Practicing with my Blendabilities again...I colored in the drink glass image with some blendabilities markers (I love that they have large and small tips so coloring small things is easy!!).

 

The circle cut from the Crushed Curry card stock was made with a Circles framelit and I used the 2" circle punch and 2 3/8" scallop circle punch inside.

I have been working on some craft fair items lately and this is one that I finally finished today using some retired items and one of the chunky frames on the clearance rack.

Warm wishes

Our Late Night Stampers challenge this week is to use 1 stamp set, 2 embellishments and 3 colors on our projects. 

My first sample uses the Warmest of Wishes stamp set, some 1/4" Marina Mist grosgrain ribbon and a mini jingle bell, and Marina Mist, Garden Green and Whisper White as my colors.

I used the Snow burst impressions folder on the Garden Green card stock and the Marina Mist layer is textured card stock.

There is a sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary again this week and their sketch is below.

Here is my interpretation....

The tiny little four petal flower in the center of the two small flowers is actually part of what is punched out when you use the lace ribbon border punch.  I have been thinking about what to do with those for a little while now so I am happy to have found a used for them :)  They fit perfectly over the bitty punch with the 4 petals.

We are using punches our cards this week at Late Night Stampers  so my first one uses 5 different punches :)
