Hello Baby

Here are some baby cards with lots of layers and texture using the Paper Blooms designer series paper from Sale-a-bration.  Even though the Sale-a-bration products will not be available after Sunday, I will still continue sharing more projects using them in the future.

Celebrate These Moments

I have found that I love the color combinations in the Paper Blooms designer series paper (SAB 2021) and my favorite of the patterns is the one I have used on these cards.

So Much So Often

Today's card goes back to using the current catalog products.  I started with the Basket Weave folder on some Soft Suede card stock and then sponged some Soft Suede ink over it to define the embossing.

Next, I added some Bundle of Love specialty paper and linen thread.  The sentiment layer has some leave images from the Butterfly Basics stamp set and the sentiment comes from the Special Celebrations set.  I also added a few basic pearls for accents.

Supplies:
Special Celebrations, Butterfly Basics
Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede ink
Pool Party, Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla card stock

First Communion

My niece recently had her first communion and I wanted to use the Cross of hope framelits and Inspired events stamp set on her card.  I made another version of the card to give to the boys who also received their first communion and will share that another day.

First, I colored the background with Stampin' Blends and then added my layers over the top.  The Crumb Cake colored cross was die cut from the middle of the large Crumb Cake circle behind it.  Before I did the die cutting, I embossed the circle with the Basket Weave folder (SAB 2018).

Supplies:
Inspired Events
Pear Pizzazz, Perfect Plum, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake ink
Stampin' Blends
Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Wild Wasabi card stock

Foil Weave

The other day I was playing around with the Basket Weave folder and Blooming Baskets stamp set again (SAB 2018).  This time I used some Gold foil paper and embossed it with the folder before adding the stamped and cut out basket of flowers.

There is room for a sentiment as well, but I decided to leave them blank for now.  The flowers and baskets are colored in with the Stampin' Blends and I wanted to try out a few different colors so I did one basket with Daffodil Delight, one with Pool Party and another with Cherry Cobbler.

Supplies:
Blooming Baskets (SAB 2018)
Memento Black ink
Stampin' Blends
Whisper White card stock
Gold Foil paper

Basket Weave Swaps

I made a few swap cards for an event I have coming up using the Basket Weave folder (SAB 2018) and Blooming Baskets (SAB 2018) stamp set, items which you can earn together with a $100 purchase from now through the end of the month.

The cards are somewhat similar to what I showed you a few days ago using these same products, but I added another layer of card stock, cut down the size of my embossed layer and added a button from the True Gentleman collection.
I played around with a couple different colors of the Stampin' Blends for the flowers, the ones shown are Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.

March Stamp Club Projects

These are the projects my monthly Stamp Club put together this month.  We used several Sale-a-bration items and the Petal Palette, Rose Wonder and Playful Backgrounds stamp sets.

For the layout, I chose to add a couple different designs from the Springtime Foils specialty designer series paper collection (SAB 2018) and the images are from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set.

Our sympathy card uses Petal Palette and Rose Wonder for the stamp sets along with some Petal Passion designer series paper and ribbon from the Shimmer ribbon pack (SAB 2018).

The final card showcases the Basket weave impressions folder (SAB 2018) and Layering Squares framelits.  We added a strip of burlap ribbon and colored the flower images with Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz markers.

Blooming Baskets

I made a few cards using the Blooming Basket Bundle which is one of the new Sale-a-bration releases that came out recently.  The bundle includes a stamp set called Blooming Baskets and an embossing folder called Basket Weave.

I used my Stampin' Blends to color in the basket and the background and left the cards without sentiments (at least for now).  I chose the Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends and used both the light and dark colors.  The background is done with the Ivory color.

Supplies:
Blooming Baskets (SAB 2018)
Memento Black ink
Stampin' Blends
Whisper White, Crumb Cake card stock
