Texture and Pattern

I always seen to go back to this sentiment that was in the first Paper Pumpkin kit, I love the fonts as well as the words.

There are quite a few things going on in this card...maybe too much?  I chose to add a Positively Chevron background followed by some Decorative Dots embossing.

Another Paper Pumpkin stamp is placed behind the sentiment and I also used the Gorgeous Grunge set for a little splatter.

Supplies:
Gorgeous Grunge, Positively Chevron, Paper Pumpkin
Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon ink
Soft Suede, Whisper White, Lost Lagoon card stock
Note tag punch
mini stapler
Decorative dots folder
Lost Lagoon stitched satin ribbon

Since I just ordered the floral fusion sizzlit recently, I have  been playing with it a little bit and this card is one of those experiments.

I used the Positively Chevron, Gorgeous Grunge and Perfect Pennants stamp sets with the little flowers as accents.

I am drawn to this style of card and like to see what different combinations I can work with, but usually Gorgeous Grunge comes into play.

Perfect Pennants
Positively Chevron
Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White card stock

Little Altered Notebooks

Our Late Night Stampers challenge that starts today is to make a back to school teacher gift.  I thought these cute little altered notebooks would be great teacher or even student gifts for back to school.

I found the notebooks at the "M" store in the dollar section awhile ago on clearance and while they looked nice without altering, I thought they would be more fun this way!

I used several different designer series papers, but added some 1 1/4 burlap ribbon to each one.

The "notes" comes from the ABC 123 Sketch alphabet and numbers stamp set and I added the Positively Chevron background stamp over the top.

The Delicate Doilies stamp set shows up in two of the designs as well.

Supplies:
notebooks
Early Espresso, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe ink
Pistachio Pudding, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Basic Black card stock
Venetian Romance, Gingham Garden, Sweater Weather, and Modern Medley dsps
sticky strip
1 1/4" burlap ribbon
Positively Chevron, ABC 123 alphabet and numbers, and Delicate Doilies stamp sets
