Celebrate

For this card, I chose the ink colors (with the exception of the Pacific Point used for Your Day) by the design on the designer series paper pattern.  The pattern comes from the Delightful Daisy collection and I chose Tranquil Tide and Mint Macaron (retired) to pair with it.

The card is really a simple one, but I think it turned out pretty fun with the dot images in the background. It will be a Stamp A Stack option in the upcoming months.

Supplies:
Happy Celebrations
Mint Macaron, Pacific Point, Tranquil Tide ink

Tulip Sympathy

I played around with some different tulip colors on this card using Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral together.  The background card stock layer is also Peekaboo Peach.

The sentiment is from Better Together and I added some Peekaboo Peach ruched ribbon on the side with the mini stapler.  I will be using this card as one of my Stamp A Stack options this month.

Tranquil Tulips, Better Together
Wild Wasabi, Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach, Early Espresso ink

Friends

Today's card is another one using the Crafting Forever stamp set.  This time I chose the scissor image and stamped it randomly on some Very Vanilla card stock with Berry Burst ink.  I added some metallic enamel dots for accents.

On the side, I attached a piece of Eastern Palace designer series paper and then wrapped some vanilla satin ribbon around the scissor layer.  The sentiment is punched out with the Pretty Label punch and I punched out two more of those using Berry Burst card stock and pieced it so it looks layered.

Supplies:
Crafting Forever
Berry Burst ink
Very Vanilla, Berry Burst, Pool Party, Soft Suede card stock
Eastern Palace specialty paper

A Beautiful Thing

I again pulled out some leftover pieces that I didn't use on the graduation banner I shared a little while ago to make a couple cards using the Colorful Seasons stamp set.  I really love all the sentiments in this stamp set as well as the variety of image stamps.

The layered circles are cut out with the Stitched Shapes framelits and the Circles framelits.  The bottom layer is also embossed with the Decorative Dots folder.  I chose a pattern from the Delightful Daisies designer series paper pack to go behind the layers and added a couple different types of ribbon to break up the pattern.

Supplies:
Colorful Seasons
Basic Gray ink
Very Vanilla, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate card stock
Delightful Daisies dsp
3/8" metallic ribbon (SAB 2017)
Vanilla satin ribbon
enamel dots
Stitched Shapes Framelits

Ridiculously Happy

Stampin' Up! discontinued the Project Life products after that last catalog, but in place of that we now have Memories and More collections which are a similar concept.  The collections can be used for scrapbooking and for card making and I have chosen one of the cards from the Color Theory Memories and More kit to use on this card.

In the background, I stamped some flowers using a two step stamp method and I added a strip of Color Theory designer series paper as well.  The card has a sentiment stamped on it with Fresh Fig ink and the stamp set is called Lovely Friends (the flowers are also part of the same stamp set).

I added a few pearls to complete the card.

Supplies:
Lovely Friends
Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Sweet Sugarplum ink
Very Vanilla card stock

Color Theory Memories and More pack

Soft Sayings Card Kit

I always love to play with the card kits that Stampin' Up! comes up with for us.  They are great for putting together quite a few cards in a small amount of time since all the pieces are ready for you to put together.

The kit comes with ink, adhesive, stamps, envelopes and all the pieces needed to create 20 cards (2 each of 10 designs) in a couple different sizes AND there is a refill kit as well if you want to make more using the same stamp set.

The watercolor designs on these are so much fun and there are die cuts ready to pop out and paste on your cards with ease as well.

The only thing I used from my other supplies was my Tranquil Tide and Smoky Slate ink on a couple of the sentiments and I have pieces left over for more projects.

If you think this looks like a fun project, you can find it on page 11 of the Idea Book and Catalog.   Item #145466 $35.00 for the kit and 145387 $21.00 for the refill.

Just Breathe

Today is the day!  You can now order from the new Catalog and Idea Book.  The card I have to show you today uses a new stamp set and designer series paper pack that I know you will love.

I chose to use the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack as the background and the Colorful Seasons stamp set for the sentiment and leaves.

I thought the doily added a nice accent and threw in a few basic pearls as well.

Supplies:
Colorful Seasons
Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi ink
Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Dapper Denim card stock
lace doily
Wood Textures dsp stack
basic pearls
